Only anything needs its creator.

I would submit that certain knowledge of a creator isn't a particularly useful thing for every day survival. While emotionally comforting, that knowledge in and of itself, won't feed you, house you, created life-sustaining technology, or achieve a higher standard of living.

Science is the methodology for figuring out how things work and how that knowledge can be used to improve (mostly) our lives. Religion is a way to 'know' those things that we crave to know as self-aware organisms.

Both are necessary for life.

Church and Holy Bible are above the Science!
Without Religion our societies are already going to be finished, look around:

Adultery, fornication, drug abuse, lies, WWIII preparation, starvation, alcoholism, abortions, socialism, satanism.
Former christian societies were deliberately destroyed by liberals, to resurrect them we needs a Strong Fundamental Christianity with Traditional Values and without liberalism
And church ABOVE THE STATE ( or at least equal ) where corrupted lying politicians doing anything they please!

We had such a period as you describe where religion was above the state and above science. It was called "The Dark Ages".
