A Democrat's rebuttal to typical Republican complaints about Democrats

Hate crimes spiked when Trump took office.

Trump invited the Taliban terrorists to Camp David. He chased out the AFgan government and did a deal with the taliban, who are terrorists.
Then, despite his promise for four years he would pull out, he chickened out and kicked the can to Biden, leaving him with fewer options.
At least Biden had the courage to do IT

BFD, Yes, there were issues in the pullout, but TRUMP DID NOT HAVE THE COURAGE TO DO IT.
AND Biden did help get Finland into Nato: Biden formalizes US support for Finland, Sweden joining NATO

A Republican lie being told since I was in my 20s, an I'm 72 now.

You can't refute what I posted in the previous post. EVERYTHING I POSTED IS TRUE AND VERIFIABLE.

You are a fucking liar in the first Degree. Trump is a threat to national security, and you can't refute it.
1. Who the fuck cares about "hate crimes"? Trump was a real president, not a senile figurehead.

2. Trump had the Taliban's respect. No US servicemen were killed after Trump negotiated the withdrawal. Biden totally fucked up the withdrawal.

3. Putin attacking Ukraine made Finland and Sweden want to join NATO. Biden had zero to do with it. OH, who blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline?????

4. You are the LIAR. Thanks for proving it. Medicare and Social Security are going bankrupt/insolvent.
MEDICARE: "That’s right. In their annual report, released last June, Medicare’s trustees reported that the hospital insurance trust fund will bring in $412.6 billion in 2023. It will spend $415.6 billion. That means it will spend $3 billion more than it generates in revenue this year. "

SOCIAL SECURITY: "Two Social Security trust funds, both of which own US debt in the form of treasuries, should cover costs for the next decade. The trust fund that pays checks to seniors will be depleted in 2034. Starting in 2035, Social Security would only be able to pay 77% of benefits without government action."

5. Trump is NOT a threat to national security, Joe Biden is. Joe Biden is OWNED BY China. Bought and paid for. The House Republicans are following the money, including diamonds.

A Chinese surveillance balloon was detected hovering over the Big Sky State in early February, traversing nearly the entire continental U.S. before the Biden administration decided to shoot down the spy craft.

Pick a few to debate. Every one of those points can be verified with google.

O.K. dumbo..here's one:

"China loves Biden for abandoning AFG’s motherlode of rare metals to them!"

Do you know anything about rare earth metals?

Obviously not. Rare earth metals are not rare, they are found almost everywhere.

They are called 'rare' because the percentage of rare earth metals that can be extracted from any dig is miniscule. It takes expensive processing to extract them.

The only reason why China has any monopoly on them is that China's extraction process is cheaper. Afghanistan holds no prized deposits of them.

Learn something dumbo:

1. Who the fuck cares about "hate crimes"? Trump was a real president, not a senile figurehead.
Clearly you don't, which explains why you would vote for the most criminal, corrupt, incompetent president in history.
2. Trump had the Taliban's respect. No US servicemen were killed after Trump negotiated the withdrawal. Biden totally fucked up the withdrawal.
Terrorists would kiss the butt of any US president if that president handed them the keys to an entire country, you fucking moron. Trump invited terrorist to Camp David.
He promised he would withdraw from Afghanistan and chickened out, BUT BIDEN HAD THE COURAGE TO GET IT DONE, despite the difficulty he faced, that Trump had tied Biden's hands, forcing him to be faced with an unpredictable taliban rather than the Afghani government who were cast aside and forced to flee. Get your fucking facts straight.
3. Putin attacking Ukraine made Finland and Sweden want to join NATO. Biden had zero to do with it.

He had lot to do with it; Biden signs NATO membership protocols for Finland and Sweden
OH, who blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline
No one knows: Who blew up the Nord Stream pipelines?

You are the fucking liar. For 30 years repubs have been making the same damn claim AND THEY ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS FUND IT, SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY.
And do you want to know why? Because if they don't, no one will vote for them, that's why. We seniors DO NOT have to worry about SS and Medicare.

5. Trump is NOT a threat to national security, Joe Biden is.
Wrong:
As president, Trump was a threat to US National Security Because of....

His debt to foreign banks is a national security threat.

His incessant undermining public faith in elections is a national security threat.

His incessant assertion that the press is the enemy of the people undermine public confidence in the very thing that protects them from tyranny, i.e., a vigorous and free press, which is a threat to liberal democracy, and a national security threat.

His contempt of congress and obstruction of justice is a threat to national security

His attempt to use the DOJ for political ends is a threat to national security

His hiring lobbyists to the cabinet posts they fought against is a threat to national security

His failure to grasp the seriousness of climate change is a threat to national security ( this is the big one)

His gutting the state department, leaving half of the ambassadorships unfilled is a threat to national security

His hiring of incompetent persons is a threat national security.

His incompetence handling Covid is a threat to national security

the unprecedented turnover in the white house is a threat to national security

His tendency to hire sycophants/yes men, and fire those who speak truth to power is a threat to national security.

His lack of knowledge of US history, lack of knowledge of civics, and many things along these lines, is a threat to national security

His arrogance and total lack of empathy, and total lack of humility, plus the above, means he is unfit for the job and his unfitness is a threat to national security.

His nepotism is a threat to national security.

His spending too much time watching TV and tweeting and playing golf is a threat to national security ( well, it's not good, let's just say that much )

His imposing tariffs which caused farmers to permanently lose markets is a threat to national security

His corruption, bilking of the US Taxpayer to the tune of $16 million from entourage stays in his hotels and resorts, all of which his family has profited and his nepotism, allowing his daughter in law to win millions of dollars worth of China trademarks while he was negotiating with China, his allowing Jared to garner a $500 million bailout from QATAR, all of which is a threat to national security

His nauseating fawning over Putin whose objective is to destroy and/or greatly diminish America's standing in the world, is a threat to national security

His incessant egregious lying, i.,e., "Truth Decay" is a threat to national security

His usurping the Senate by appointing 'acting' heads of departments of whom the president is supposed to appoint and be confirmed by the Senate, the acting heads cause more instability and decrease of moral in the rank and file in those departments,
is a threat to national security

His firing of Comey, which was detrimental to the morale of the rank and file of the FBI, and Trump's scapegoating the FBI, and undermining a once trusted American institution (post Hoover, of course). is a threat to national security

His acquiescing to Erdogan by allowing DOJ to interfere in US Attorney's office investigation of a Turkish bank because it will adversely affect members of Erdogan's family, noting that Erdogan tried to do it with Obama, and his DOJ refused, but Erdogan is finding Trump a pliant president, noting that Trump abandoning the kurds, who were instrumental in helping us in the Iraq war, whose members died for America, Trump did this to appease Erdogan, whereupon the vacuum that that pull out created forced the Kurds to turn to Russia, thus increasing Russia's influence in the region, noting that Trump has property in Turkey, is a threat to national security

His decision to begin the process of withdrawing the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty will end an arms control agreement with Russia that has been a centerpiece of European security since the Cold War. The move, meant to penalize Russia for noncompliance, is likely to alarm the international community, particularly Europe, and cause fears that the US and Russia could enter a new nuclear arms race is a threat to national security

His pulling out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, A massive trade deal meant to counteract China's economic power. Trump ran on a promise to spike the plan, saying it was unfair to American workers. The pact was never officially adopted by Congress. The other 11 nations have carried on without the US, the void this pullout caused allowed China to gain considerable influence over international Trade in the affected regions. The partnership was an agreement that was the result of many years of negotiation is a threat to national security

His pullout of the Iran nuclear deal. Despite criticism, the deal bought America about 15 years of time to work on ways to thwart their development of nukes, and without the deal, they are restored to their pre-agreement abilities, with one difference, their money in banks, which was frozen, is now in their hands, so we don't have the benefit of the agreement nor the benefit of the freeze on their funds is a threat to national security

His receiving a $500 million dollar loan from Deutsche Bank while simultaneously a deposit that amount was made to that bank, the money coming from a Russian state bank ( which means Putin controlled ) which makes Trump beholden to Putin, which explains his refusal to criticize Putin, or do much about Russian election interference is a threat to national security
.
His appointing a Secretary of Commerce who was the VP of the real estate loan department at Deustche Bank when Trump was getting many loans from Deutsche Bank is a threat to national security

His failure to grasp certain fundamental economic concepts, his contentions which are essentially false, such as 'Tariffs are paid by China" ( no, they are paid by Americans ) is a threat to national security

His appointing of a Postmaster General whose apparent mission was to slow down mail in ballots from arriving on time, noting that this postmaster general (Dejoy) has failed to comply with a court order to expedite the mail in ballots is a threat to national security

His 'tax cut' which was nothing more than largesse for the superrich, and crumbs for everyone else thus causing deficits to careen to levels history has never seen is a threat to national security

His repeal of many important environmental regulations is a threat to national security.

Joe Biden is OWNED BY China. Bought and paid for. The House Republicans are following the money, including diamonds.
Daily mail and NYpost are dirt rags.
A Chinese surveillance balloon was detected hovering over the Big Sky State in early February, traversing nearly the entire continental U.S. before the Biden administration decided to shoot down the spy craft.

This is going to be a long post...

1. You never linked Trump to "hate crimes". Trump actually did well getting minority votes. As for your lie that Trump was "the most criminal, corrupt, incompetent president in history." you need to look at the Biden Crime Family, and the FACT that Biden can't do a real press conference, Biden is a figurehead, nothing more.

2. Biden reversed every other Trump policy, so don't blame Trump for Biden's disastrous withdrawal from AFG. No matter how you try to <<<<<spin>>>>> the AFG withdrawal, history will record it as a disaster. You also can't spin Biden being held in CONTEMPT by France and the Brits for it. Leaving $85b of US equipment so that China can reverse engineer it was TREASON. Then again, China bought Biden, he is in-fact a Chinese asset.

3. Biden signed the membership approval for Finland & Sweden, meh. That is not a feather in his hat.

4. True that SS & Medicare have been "fixed" in the past. However, the FACT remains that unless they are FIXED again they will go bankrupt. Medicare first next year, then Social Security in 2034. SO WHY DIDN'T THE DEMS FIX ENTITLEMENTS??

5. NYPOST & dailymail?? There are hundreds of other links that confirm Biden is OWNED by China, bought and paid for. A traitor in plain sight.

6. In what world can Navy flunkout and druggie Hunter Biden get to a net worth of $230,000,000 except through selling access to corrupt Joe Biden?

7. Your lengthy list of items against Trump are all chiken-shit items, no "smoking gun" like the House Republicans are detailing against the Biden Crime Family,

Incompetent counter rebuttal, doesn't negate my rebuttal. You traffic in hate/rant words not reason. Moreover, you are incapable of knowing the difference.
You cling to whatever right wing bullcrap narrative is bouncing around the right wing echo chamber, you'll believe what you want to believe because of your innate hatred.
You don't give a damn about facts you are not interested in any fact which fucking proves you are stupid.
You never rebutted the FACT that there is NO reason that the IRS needs 87,000 new agents "willing to use deadly force". NONE.

The FACT that after the IRS was blasted for the ad they took it down and did NOT justify it.

There is no other rationale' for the armed agents other than the corrupt Biden WH wants to create a new GESTAPO.

Its funny that you whine about "facts" without putting up any!!

The following are Typical Republican complaints highlighted in red (what other color would be more appropriate than red, eh?), and the complaints are not about any particular poster, or any particular Republican, but they are common enough that I have listed them here, and my rebuttal (given that I'm a traditional Democrat, with a dash of libertarian). Links and substantiation is provided where words are underlined.

Some forty or so years ago, during the Reagan era, I was a moderate Republican. I switched parties because of Republican's lies about Democrats and the right's fundamental misunderstandings on the proper governance of nations.

The point is, if I believed half of what Republicans claim about Democrats, I'd still be a Republican.

Democrats are violating the Constitution

No president has violated the constitution more than Trump, to wit:

Emoluments Clause: Trump made up to $160 million from foreign countries as president

Impeachment charges: Trump was impeached twice by the House of Representatives – first, for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in the Ukraine scandal, and second, for incitement of insurrection in relation to the Capitol riot.

Obstruction of justice: Trump's actions during the Russia investigation, as detailed in the Mueller Report, constituted obstruction of justice. Trump violated the Constitution en mass by defying Congressional subpoenas and ordering his underlings same.

First Amendment: Trump's actions against the press, such as revoking press credentials and calling for changes in libel laws, threatened First Amendment rights.

Separation of powers: Trump's use of executive orders and emergency powers to bypass Congress, such as reallocating funds for his border wall, violated the separation of powers outlined in the Constitution.

Pardons: Trump's corrupt use of the presidential pardon power, particularly for allies and supporters, could be seen as an abuse of that power.

Violating the right to due process: Trump's immigration policies, such as the family separation policy and travel ban, may have violated the due process rights of affected individuals.

Census controversy: Trump's attempt to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census, which was blocked by the Supreme Court, was seen by some as a potential violation of the Constitution's requirement for an "actual Enumeration" of the population.

Biden and Dems are breaking laws

Trump has broken more laws than any President in history

Biden is trampling on our Constitutional rights

That' rich given that Trump wanted to terminate parts of the constitution:

Biden and Dems need to stop being authoritarian socialists trying to run every single aspect of our lives

That's rich given that Republicans have succeeded in repealing women's privacy and reproductive rights.

Biden should stop with the corrupt 3rd world banana republic two-tiered justice system where they elevate themselves above Constitution, law, and accountability

That's rich given that AG Bill Barr and Trump corrupted and weaponized the DOJ

Democrats need to stop with the never-ending, hate-driven, criminal crusade against Trump

Trump is the most criminal, most corrupt president in history. All attempts to hold him accountable are noble and just.

Democrats need to stop being corrupt, criminal, greedy, power-hungry, self-enriching, CCP-Compromised sell-outs trying to destroy the country

The perfect description of Donald Trump, how nice of you Repubs to list it all in one convenient sentence!

Democrats need to stop targeting, sexualizing children, gender confusing, LGBTQ Indoctrinating our kids and mutilating their genitals

If such are your words, and they are similar to the words used by some, if not by most, on the right, noting that they are weasel words of hate. This destroys your credibility.

No one on the left recommends sex change operations for children 16 and under (and it is not happening, though if you do produce and document such happening, I view it as criminal child abuse), and between the ages 16-18 it is extremely rare. Personally, I'm against puberty blockers and all such operations under the age of consent, I view it as criminal.

My, if such are typical of your words, then I can only surmise your hatred of our gay brethren, and that means you hate animals, too, since same sex preference is also abundant in the wild. The conclusion may seem engaging in hysterics, but it's a response comparable to the charge.

Not-so-humbly tendered,
Rumpole
You claim to have switched parties because of the lies that republicans told, but ignore all the lies that the democrats tell, and then list every left wing talking point ever circulated about trump, most of which are based on lies, out things that were hyped up by left wing media.

You can be whoever you want to be, but if the lies are what got you to switch, I’d think you would want to be more middle of the road, because both sides lie about the other side

OK, so here are several credible articles that support my assertion, and disprove your assertion that "AFG holds no prized deposits of them" . Kyzr-1, RH-0

Guess again clown-boy:

"Rare-earth ore deposits are found all over the world. The major ores are in China, the United States, Australia, and Russia, while other viable ore bodies are found in Canada, India, South Africa, and southeast Asia."

Funny, no mention of Afghanistan.

Dumbass, Britannica can have data that is outdated. My article from Scientific-American starts off with "recent exploration". Both articles can be true.

Recent exploration of rare volcanic rocks in the rugged, dangerous desert of southern Afghanistan has identified world-class concentrations of rare earth elements, the prized group of raw materials that are essential in the manufacture of many modern technologies, from electric cars to solar panels. So far, geologists say, they have mapped one million metric tons of these critical elements, which include lanthanum, cerium and neodymium.

I never denied that there was rare earth metals in Afghanistan. I stated the rare earth metals are found all over the world - so there's nothing special about Afghanistan's deposits.

Tell me where, in Donald Trump's plan, does it say we need to maintain control of rare earth deposits in Afghanistan:

It would have been nice to have access to AFG's rare earth metals, but the Taliban would rather fuck goats.

Not-so-humbly tendered,
Rumpole
so just another "WHAT ABOUT TRUMP" thread from another useless idiot,,

The moment someone proposes a "flat tax", I know they're an economic idiot and I don't bother reading further.

A flat tax is a regressive tax, which taxes hits poor and low income people the hardest.

In other words, the current "progressive" tax system is social engineering.

I would prefer a national sales tax over either the flat tax or the current system. No one could hide from it, not the poor, the rich or criminals. The more money you have, the more money you spend and the more tax you pay. My only requirement would be a constitutional amendment restricting the federal government from installing ANY other forms of taxation. Low income people should pay their fair share.

Debates Go Nowhere Because of Key Omissions

How can you deny that imposing a 100% tax on all inheritances over $100,000 would eliminate all other taxes? On the 1% alone, that would give us $3 trillion a year.
Because the rich would find a way around it IF they allowed it to pass. There is one universal constant about government that people like you ignore. The rich control the government, they always have, and they always will. All those "campaign donations and thousand dollar a plate dinners that politicians hold have strings attached. The strings are held by the rich people who pay the politicians. Remember the government going after Microsoft a couple of decades ago? All of a sudden when Microsoft started playing the game by giving campaign donations to the politicians, the anti-trust action went away.

You're probably too young to remember the old tax system with all the deductions. The tax rates were up in the ninety percent range for the rich, but they had so many loopholes installed that they paid less in taxes than the middle class. I can remember the first time I filed a long form; I went from owing the government fifty bucks to them owing me three hundred bucks. There were deductions and loopholes for everything.

/——/ Those were the days, my friend. We thought the three martini lunches would never end…

Your Trump issues are total bullshit:
Emoluments Clause
: No Trump violations, unlike Hunter's paintings, bought by anonymous donors.
Trump recieved some $16 million from foreign dignitaries currying favor with him by staying at his hotels, which they otherwise wouldn't have but for his presidency. Kushner received a $125,000,000 1.25% management fee on a $2billion bucks score for a dubious investment scheme from the murderous Mohammed Bin Salman, and that's the tip of the iceberg:
Impeachment charges: Total partisan bullshit. Not guilty, TWICE.
Trump's own party controlled the senate all of whom are spineless cowards who fear Trump's base so that is why they didn't convict, they feared being primaried, as Cheney and Flake were for being honest in their vote to convict.
Obstruction of justice: The Mueller hoax came up empty dumbass. No collusion, no obstruction, nothing, except NOT investigating Hillary for her collusion paying Russians for the Steele Dossier.
You're beating a dead horse on Hillary, the Mueller Report was NOT a hoax, given these facts:

Immediate Results:
  1. Identification of 10 instances of potential obstruction of justice by President Trump
  2. Indictment of 34 individuals and 3 companies
  3. Six Trump associates convicted or pleading guilty
  4. Public and political debate about the findings
  5. Calls for further investigations by Congress
  6. Increased scrutiny of Russian interference in the 2016 election
Ultimate Results:
  1. Impeachment of President Trump by the House of Representatives (December 2019)
  2. Acquittal of President Trump by the Senate (February 2020) (by a compliant spineless Senate who feared him)
  3. Increased awareness and measures to prevent foreign interference in U.S. elections
  4. Ongoing legal cases and investigations into Trump associates
  5. Later it is discovered that Manafort gave proprietary voter demographic data to a Russian spy

First Amendment: Trump's actions against the "fake news"press were totally justified.
The most important thing protecting the people's freedom from tyranny are not arms, but in fact, it is a vigorous and thriving free press, and Trump is antithetical to it, as are you.
Separation of powers: The USSC said Trump's actions were perfectly legal
That's probably a mischaracterization of facts, you'll need to cite the court case and quote the ruling.

Pardons: Trump's actions were perfectly legal
14 of his underlings (proud boys and the oath keepers) have been convicted of Sedition, and He's being criminally investigated on a number of fronts (probably sedition and other things) and sued for rape not to mention his Trump org has been criminally indicted, his charity disbanded for 'illegal activity' for which he was fined $2million, and had to settle for $25,000,000 for a fake university scam. Now we have him on tape doubling down (paraphrased) 'stars have historically been able to grab women by their genitals'.
"fortunately or unfortunately"
Violating the right to due process: Trump's immigration policies were perfectly legal
Legal, but the permanent separation of children from parents for a crime no greater than a class B misdemeanor is cruel and despicable and thus immoral.
Census controversy: Trump's attempt to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census, which was blocked by the Supreme Court, was seen by some as a potential violation of the Constitution's requirement for an "actual Enumeration" of the population.
It was a clear power grab not allowed by the constitution.
Counting non-citizens is total bullshit.
That is, indeed, the framers intent, so you are calling the framers 'bullshit'.

Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution states that representation and direct taxation shall be apportioned among the states "according to their respective numbers," with the numbers being determined by adding "the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons." The "three fifths of all other Persons" refers to the three-fifths compromise, which counted each enslaved person as three-fifths of a person for purposes of representation and taxation.

The broad language used in this section suggests that the framers intended to count all individuals, including non-citizens, in the census.

The 3/5ths rule has been upgraded to equality with citizens since it was effectively rendered obsolete by the passage of the 13th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution..

The long and short of it is the fact that NOT counting everyone IS unconstitutional and thus clearly you do not
know what you are talking about not to mention your defending a man who is literally indefensible.
