The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, has inspired huge amounts of controversy since even before it became law. Proponents and opponents debated fiercely about the benefits and downsides of Obamacare, with many predicting unintended consequences that would surprise Americans. Yet even with the law having been in effect for a while now, a surprises keep coming up that few people on either side really expected to happen.

To keep you informed about Obamacare and its effects, we turned to three Motley Fool contributors for their views on the most surprising aspect of healthcare reform that largely escaped notice until now.

And all you quote is someone else's facts off some site called, fool.com

Apparently there's still one person living in a ditch who doesn't know what the Motley Fool is and gets lost in the name.

It's a little like hearing there's a channel called "Fox News" and expecting it to be wild animal videos... :cuckoo:

I wonder if the people knows about these little OscamCare surprises?

you really are a total idiot...do you ever read anything but message boards?

Stephanie sees "ABC News" and figures it's an educational channel to learn the alphabet.
Stephanie buys Time Magazine to write her appointments in.
Stephanie goes to McDonald's and asks, "where's the farm?"
Stephanie picked up a guy and rubbed him on her car because he said he was Polish.

Of course people are going to sign up, the law requires it. That does not translate into quality healthcare OR affordable healthcare. Liberals are so gullible, somebody tells them something they want to hear and they just grab it and run with it without giving it a second thought.

They even won LIE of the year over it. And then turned around and LIED to you again about what they said:
Lie of the Year: 'If you like your health care plan, you can keep it'
We counted dozens of times that President Barack Obama said that if people liked their health plans, they could keep them.

It was a catchy political pitch and a chance to calm nerves about his dramatic and complicated plan to bring historic change to America’s health insurance system.

"If you like your health careplan, you can keep it," President Barack Obama said -- many times -- of his landmark new law.

Related rulings:

"What we said was, you can keep (your plan) if it hasn’t changed since the law passed."
— Barack Obama, Monday, November 4th, 2013.

"FACT: Nothing in #Obamacare forces people out of their health plans."
— Valerie Jarrett, Monday, October 28th, 2013.

"If you're one of the more than 250 million Americans who already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance."
— Barack Obama, Thursday, June 28th, 2012.

But the promise was impossible to keep.

So this fall, as cancellation letters were going out to approximately 4 million Americans, the public realized Obama’s breezy assurances were wrong.

Boiling down the complicated health care law to a soundbite proved treacherous, even for its promoter-in-chief.

Yet these people still could give a shit less how it's hurting more people than helping

all of it here:
Lie of the Year If you like your health care plan you can keep it PolitiFact

They had to rely on the stupidity of the American people (Democrats) to get it passed.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGD

STOOPID STUFF - ROLL ON THIS BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!

Stephanie has said she can't figure out her free health care but, as utterly stoopid as she is, my bet is she can figure out how to spend her food stamps and welfare assistance.

Stephanie - stick with what you know: scamming the gumt for crappy cheese.
