He doesn't think like that. He expects Obama to protect his daughter. (and by Obama, I mean the government) That's the problem. There are too many people who have this mindset that the government will fix everything. So they abdicate their responsibilities to others who they think will pick up the slack.

No government, however, can do that, and no government that is trying will be a free one. Until people begin empowering themselves and accepting their responsibilities inherent in life and liberty, our nation will suffer for it
