2 party system?

    The two party system has worked in the past, and would work in the future, if each party were not so controlled by its whacked out base.

    Since I just don't see that happening, I have to support a third party. Logistically a nightmare, though, plus there are no guarantees it would also not be controlled by lunatics. What I'd really prefer is a combination of strict term limits and publicly-funded elections. Our current "system" is a destructive travesty.

    Our "leaders" continue to fail us.

    California is moving towards a no party system. We'll see how it works out...

    The Democrats are certainly controlled by the hard Leftists right now.

    Who controls the Republicans? The Tea Party hardliners or the Romney moderates?
