For instance I remember hearing this example: " A Southern cracker will tell you how he stands right to your face and a Northern cracker will do it behind your back." . That example was referring to .............................racism. See in the South Jim Crow and discrimination was codified thus de jure and in the North it was done in a de facto manner. Same result, just a different manner of going about doing the same thing. The people that I heard state that wouldn't describe a White he knows or walking down the street as a cracker, he would be described as a "White guy".
