The deal as I understood it was:
Putin & Z agree to the peace deal
There's a ceasefire
Brits & France and ______ send peacekeepers into Ukraine to police the peace
The US sends miners in to mine lithium, and other metals
Ukraine gets revenue from the mining
Ukraine gets security from the NATO troops and US miners being in Ukraine

Well thats a cool story...except there was not even a wiff of any agreement at all on any of this.

Putin never agreed to shit, explicitly rejected any troops in Urkaine and the war goes on.
