I've noticed some things about humans and human nature in my time on Planet E

I've noticed that most people do not care about what is really true, but only what they SAY is true, what they BELIEVE is true, what their pastor says is true or maybe their parents or friends or whomever.

I found Truth in the Catholic Faith, the real Catholic faith, not the 2 branches of the Church that are in error. "Seek and you will find," Jesus said. So I did. But it seems that most people do not do that.. or most people don't.. whether I met them in person or on the net.

That's scary. And then you have these places / websites that censor speech. It's like OMG! You can't say THAT truth.. Oops, I mean that opinion! That may cause people to actually reject some falsehood that serves our agenda better --or whatever.

You get called all kinds of names when you say the Truth, period.. not just some trite, hackneyed, socially-acceptable un-truth that "tickles the ears" as the Word calls it.

It's like we're still in .. not high school, but junior high.. where you are supposed to say whatever it takes to get along or be popular. Wow.. no wonder Jesus said few make it. He said His way would NOT be popular..

The old saying Truth [objective truth] hurts is indeed true. But avoiding Truth because it hurts will get you to .. eternal hurt.

Example: There is a poster here who attacks me every time I post something, but he purports to be Catholic. The thing is, he is in one of the branches of the Catholic Church that is in egregious ERROR. There are 3 branches nowadays and only one of them teaches TRUE, historically-supported Catholicism.. you know, the Catholicism the ancient saints adhered to. Anyone "canonized" after 1962 is likely NOT a saint at all.. It's a long story, but a very interesting one for anyone who cares about the history of Christianity.

But this poster who has not read up on what I'm talking about just KNOWS I'm a Protestant, as he called me. Other people here, after reading my posts, would find THAT laughable.. But it's like on the internet, everyone just has to get their jabs in, vent their frustrations on.. well, just anyone, even if that person believes much of what he does! There's something really, really wrong there.

I'm sorry about the typo I didn't notice

But here's a summary of my (probably longest ever) post above

you have these places / websites / "news" stations so called that censor speech.

It's like OMG! You can't say THAT truth.. Oops, I mean that opinion! That may cause people to actually reject some falsehood that serves our agenda better --or whatever.

A prime example is how one of the leftist "news" stations (they call it "news"):auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:
cut off part of RFK's speech, the part where he started talking negatively about the D party.

Don't talk bad about Big Brother or his Bigger Brother, the media! Don't you dare do that!

Then, since we're in Religion, there are all those Catholic haters who absolutely REFUSE to give the Catholic Church credit for having any Truth whatsoever, denying at EVERY turn that the CC was the ONLY Christian Church in the world until the 16th century.. never mind the fact that it still is the only truly Christian Church in the world, which makes sense.. Jesus only founded ONE Church... (not hard to count them)..

Jesus only founded ONE Church...

not a church ...

the spoken religion of antiquity, liberation theology, self determination - non of which is found in any desert bible - is what jesus taught ... the same as had always been and will always be.

I took you off Ignore (probably temporarily?) to say this:

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. You've never been Catholic, as I have, all my life. And as I have found out, probably only 5% of posters here at this forum understand or even begin to understand Catholicism.

YOU are not one of them, to say the least. I'm sorry you are disillusioned on religion, and most religions are, indeed

disillusion-worthy

But that does not mean the Catholic Church is, the one Christ founded. And I am not talking about the allegedly Catholic Churches out there, which is most of them. The Sedevacantist Catholics are the ones who know and teach TRUE Catholicism. And that is the religion of God Himself.. whether a majority think so or not. . and we know the majority does not.

However, Jesus said the majority end up in Hell (Mt 7, Lk 13 and etc)

I'm sorry you are disillusioned on religion ...

- that is the desert bibles and dwellers.

jesus taught liberation theology, self determination to free one's spirit for judgment and admission to the everlasting - the religion of antiquity, the triumph of good vs evil ... there is no church all are equal.

And just how did it go down between Jesus and pontious pilate ?

you mean Pontius Pilate.

What does your Q have to do with the OP? don't get it. Oh, he asked Jesus What is truth?

Well, Jesus knew the answer. I can't recall off the top of my head what Jesus said in response but through much of his Ordeal, he was silent.

i stand corrected, thx Fork

Indeed so

So why did you ask
How did that turn out?
Jesus was crucified, and yet, while he could have saved himself, it was God's will that he die for our sins (which btw, few seem to appreciate...)

Pilate questioned Jesus on 'truth', Fork

Yet Pilate did not grasp it, not recognize that Jesus was the ultimate 'truth'

A person who has been abused by one or both parents often struggles with low self-esteem, feels inferior to everyone else.

That is the person's subjective reality, that he or she is not as important as others.

But is that objective truth? No, it is not. Either all human life is equally valuable or not. It is sad when someone suffers because of the sins of others but it happens all the time. This is why we need the Church which teaches us such things as the sanctity of all human life from cradle to grave.

We see a very narrow spectrum of light, and an equally thin bandwidth of sound...That's about it.

The odds that we mere humans can perceive reality and/or the truth is exactly 0%.

Oh, the irony

I came into the world to tell people the truth about God.

so much for the jewish bible, the one used by all three desert religions.

the false commandments madeup by the liar moses and the hereditary idolatry, litany of abraham et al ... used for centuries to persecute and victimize the innocent.

not so. We are created in God's image and therefore can gather information and process it and maybe figure a few things out..

Yes, admittedly, sometimes it is VERY few things, but anyhow...

The Roman Catholics are like the Pharisees who told Jesus that they were the sons of Abraham their father and Christ responded to them saying "From these stones, God can create children for Abraham". On another occasion, the 12 apostles approached Jesus complaining about believers in Christ who weren't part of their group and Jesus corrected them saying that those who believe in Him, aren't his enemies and have a place in His Kingdom. So you can claim that the Roman Catholic Church is the only true body of Jesus Christ, but the scriptures and reality itself don't support your sectarianism and flippant dismissal of Protestant Christianity.

I'm a Christian of the CKA - Christ Kingdom Assembly, and our denomination has been influenced by Pentecostalism, the Mennonite - Anabaptist tradition and Catholicism as well.

Pentecostals, influenced the Catholics in the 20th century, sparking the Charismatic Catholic Movement, which has been endorsed by every pope since the early 1970s.

I would violate my conscience if I converted to Catholicism because I don't believe we should be worshiping, venerating, and praying to anyone but the Triune Godhead - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We should call out to God and that can include asking God to send us His angels, but that's different than praying or calling out to a being or beings other than God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Asking someone to pray for you, isn't the same as devoting yourself in prayer to someone who's no longer here in the physical realm, with us. Not the same.

You really think God put it all right out in front of everyone's noses?

I don't think so.

think again

try reading a book of anatomy - from the beginning to the present its all there ... save the spiritual content.

I say that God shows people what they need to know.. What is not necessary for them to know.. he doesn't give a rip about that in my pov

Well, someone else will have to respond to this because i seem to have reached my quota for anti-Catholic malice.

I've learned from interacting with protestants for some 20+ years that they do not listen to anything a Catholic says.. unless MAYBe they would listen to a priest or bishop but not some everyday (supposedly) Catholic on the internet.

Yeh, I kind of got tired of feeling like this in said interactions:
