This week the LPGA travels to the state of Alabama for the playing of the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic. Mi Jung Hur won this tournament last year shooting a final round 66, to defeat runner-up Stacy Lewis by 4 strokes.

WHILE OT I am amazed at how the Japanese are managing the market mind in America. Yesterday I read that Japanese cars are among the favorites of Americans, while Americans complain of deficits and shrinking pension coffers they support nations that have what some in America consider socialism. I wonder sometimes if that is not the appeal of the Donald? Mirrors anyone. Can you spell keiretsu? See my sig.

On topic, I find golf boring and as a person who grew up in the bottom class of America it wasn't an option anyway. Had our grandson hitting balls recently and was amazed at the number of Asians who golf. Some quite good at a young age.

Some friends and relatives love the sport and Sunday evening the final rounds is always on.
