London: Britain's Got Talent star Piers Morgan married Paris Hilton in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony - for a TV show.
The wedding was staged for his forthcoming ITV1 show Piers Morgan on Las Vegas, reports News of the World.
The 44-year-old joked of his 'Sin City' wedding: "You know what it's like... you have a few drinks at the casino and end up doing something silly."
Morgan and the hotel heiress exchanged fake vows at the spoof 15-minute service at The Little Church of the West, flanked by Marilyn Monroe and Elvis look-alikes.
Isn't Americas version of traditional marriage something the Puritans invented.
Used to be you took somebody into your tent and you were married. Your brother dies and you take in his wife as well. Your wife can't have kids so she gives you her hand servant to bear your children.
Now a couple of assholes party too much and they get hitched just for shits and giggles and get it annulled when they sober up.
I wonder whom really fucked up the meaning of marriage in the first place.

Just curious, were your parents married? Have you seen a successful marriage? You do realize that there are never any "perfect" marriages, don't you?
Do you believe that children should be raised in a traditional marriage home, or some other type of home?
Mud seemed to be criticizing traditional marriage. I agree with you that nothing beats a good mom/dad and a traditional childhood. Its a shame that so many kids today don't get that experience.
