If you are ever in an active shooter event, are playing dead or in hiding NEVER immediately answer anyone you can't see asking if you need help, if you are OK, etc...

One of the surviving kids told how he and friends hid under a table draped with a tablecloth. when the shooter came in he declared, 'It's time to die', and began shooting. After a pause someone said, 'Yell if you need help.' A little girl answered ... and the gunman shot her.

Pure evil.

Years ago in Germany a disco was attacked by gunmen. After killing many they ran out. A few minutes later someone ran into the bar and asked if there were any Americans there. One American who had been playing 'dead' jumped up and identified himself ... and was promptly shot and killed.

Sadly, tragically, these are now lessons we have to teach our young children because it might save their lives one day.

And law enforcement sat outside while this all happened. Why? Why did they not rush in to stop him? They were many, he was one.

I believe that they thought he had barricaded himself inside an empty classroom, not a classroom full of children.
