I'm also very surprised that Trump is now talking about pardons. Pardons are only for federal criminal offenses. Taking foreign emoluments is not a criminal offense - just an impeachable one. Mueller - and Trump - must know something that we all still don't know. High crimes and misdemeanors are also impeachable offenses. Trump appears to have really stepped in it. We'll see what it is shortly perhaps - or maybe not.
