When Milo is faced with a tantrum from a protester who disrupts his events, he mercilessly mocks them to no end. However, and this is crucial to my view of Yiannopoulos, when faced with a respectful challenge to his ideas, he’s extremely polite and gives very well thought out answers to genuine questions from liberals.
Yes, that would be an excellent way to conduct public debate, and I would welcome it.
Just one problem for liberals: When they give their most polite and reasonable answers, and conservatives do the same, the liberals lose the debate hands down. Every time.
Because the liberals are simply wrong. Every time.
It's like the liberals were trying to support the idea that 2+2=5, while the conservatives were supporting 2+2=4.
It doesn't matter how polite and well-reasoned the liberals are. They will lose when all the facts are aired.
And that is why they resort to namecalling, insults, and even violence instead. They don't dare to let the debate simply feature polite, reasonable arguments. Because they are bound and determined to make their side win, no matter how wrong it is.
