"2035". That's got a familliar sound to it!

Wyoming wants to phase out sales of EVs by 2035 to “ensure the stability” of the oil & gas industry

The State of Wyoming is considering phasing out the sales of electric vehicles by 2035 to “ensure the stability” of its oil and gas industry. Senators Jim Anderson, Brian Boner, Ed Cooper, Dan Dockstader, Representatives Donald Burkhart, Jr, and Bill Henderson sponsored the bill SJ0004.

In the bill, the group of politicians claimed that oil and gas production has been one of the state’s proud and valued industries, creating “countless jobs” and contributing “revenues to the state of Wyoming throughout the state’s history.”

Isn't it interesting that the Green Energy zealots trying to save the planet with 2 thousand pound batteries loaded with toxic materials DIDN"T THINK TO MAKE THEM RECYCLABLE!!! Things that make you go hmmmmmm......

Well, idjit, the batteries are recyclable. The US just started gear up for that. Europe has been doing that for the last 25 years.

BTW, are you aware that there are to batteries coming out real soon to replace the Lion battery? One is based on Aluminum and the other is based on Sodium. Both batteries will be fully out by 2025. One is still in the labs but it's working fine while the other is being prepared for full production. That means the aluminum oxide will be coming out later on this year or early next year. Lion batteries are stopgap only and always have been.

Are you also aware that EVs are over 130 years old? In the 1890s, the EV was the go to power for cars and light trucks. They used the very antiquated lead acid batteries and had about a 20 mile range. Around 1910, the EV no longer was improved on. The EV is that far behind on the Gasoline Cars. But it's made a stronger leap than the Gas Rig ever did in the number of years it's been under production. Gas rigs have reached their pinnacle while EV is just getting better.

This is as dumb as outlawing gasoline vehicles

Norway is close to doing that along with a couple of other northern countries. The ONLY way that the Gas Rig can be outlawed is if the EV gets the full National Support which it hasn't had

First of all, there is a reason EV's were not successful. Batteries and limited mileage. Second of all, the ONLY reason EV's have 'made a stronger leap' is because of huge government subsidies. CE cars have gotten better and better and will continue to do so.

Last time you took that route, did you think you could grab your cell phone and call for roadside assistance if your car broke down? Think again.

When federal government forces these economic decisions, disaster follows.
Should have gone with Hydrogen

They'll find ways to recycle them eventually. Everything is ultimately recyclable.

The problem is, at the end of the day, we are running out of petroleum, so we really do need a plan B.

Here's the problem.

Like it or not, the world is running out of petroleum. At current consumption rates, we will be out of petroleum in 47 years.

That assumes the world continues at its current pace of consumption. Unlikely, given that India and China with 2.5 BILLION people are increasing their consumption.

So even if you are an inbred flat earther who don't believe in that Global Warming Stuff... WE STILL HAVE A PROBLEM.

Eventually, we will run out.
