GOP Splits Over Post-Trump Path
Party leaders feel increasingly emboldened to denounce the president’s divisive behavior while trying to rally around policies that made inroads with voters.

This time, it is hard to predict where the GOP will end up. Rick Tyler, a Republican strategist who worked on Sen. Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign and has been critical of the president, said there will be more electoral failures if the GOP remains too closely associated with Mr. Trump.
“Unless the party fully rejects Trump, it will quickly become irrelevant,” he said. “The type of candidates a Trump-centric Republican Party will nominate will be easily beaten in most general elections, relegating themselves to being a perpetual minority and regional party.”
Maybe the GOPQ just wants to sit on the sidelines and watch someone else govern? If they continue to live in the past....the world will go on without them.
