It's a valid method in times of war. However, they could be opening Pandoras Box, that's the problem. Above and beyond what I post below, don't forget that China is the manufacturing hub for the world. This could have given them some ideas.

Also, I don't have access to the details of exactly how much information they had. For instance, GPS which they might have been able to pick up somehow through a test call to the pagers to know their location.

The reason I raise this concern is I considered the danger if one of these terrorists were on a commercial airplane flying to another city. That would have been devastating to Israels reputation to such a degree that there would have to be resignations or even worse.

So as I said, "any means necessary" doesn't work for me except in the most extreme of cases. One has to analyse the fallout and the risks geopolitically, militarily, economically etc. before employing extreme measures.

That's why I'm on the fence about these methods. Creative yes and it will cause Hezbollah to pause before they attack. However, if they didn't have the location details of the thousands of pagers, I can't say this was not without extreme risks.
/——/ It’s new twist on an old idea. The CIA tried to take out Castro with an exploding cigar.

So, forget the little girl....how do you know that every pager was given to a terrorist since they were bought by Hezbollah?

Where did this information come from?

lol leftists pretending to care about The Children'. It's the only fake narrative they have, so they keep repeating it like it means something to them.

And you know this how? Who gave you this information? Was the 8 year old girl that was killed a terrorist?

Terrorists love killing children, so why are you suddenly harping on it as if they ever cared?

Ya cause after all they changed to pagers to thwart spying what better way to prevent that then to give the pagers to random civilians to read their messages right?
Don’t be dumb… Ops! Too late.

We have no way to know who was wearing a pager that day or by a walkie talkie the next day. Was the guy in the video buying produce a terrorist?
Those pagers were all part of a bilk purchase by Hezbollah. After they were convinced that their cell phones were compromised.
So, yes, the guy buying groceries was enough of a terrorist to be wearing a Hezbollah pager.

Clever, but at the same time gives others the idea, if they can corrupt the supply chain, that is.
What's to stop it from our own devices being sabotaged?
Don't really want to check out while posting here.
:scared1:
Suddenly, cell phones go the way of the dinosaurs.
