I will clarify and I have said in other threads about this subject. A justice is not there to impose their personal views or make policy they are there to follow the law and if they do so it doesn't matter whether there is 6, 9 or 11. I had no problem with Roberts or Gorsuch and I don't with Kavanaugh decisions. If it's packed to make policy and impose their views then they should not be there. I also agree on term limits for justices of approximately 20 years.

Isn't that what the piece of shit McConnell is doing right now - stacking the USSC? So McConnell plays dirty, and when the other side bite back, they're the bad guys? I think most people can live with a court stacked 5/4 either right or left. That way when decisions come up that affect all US citizens, there can be real dialogue, and you get a more or less centrist like Roberts go either way. There was a reason they appointed him CJ you know. Now, the court will be stacked 6/3. Even Robert's middle of the road POV will be pointless.

The hard core right wing in the US NEVER wants compromise. It's either their way or no way. You guys go for a lose-lose or win-lose (in your favour) every time. You never go for the win-win. Ever.
