Would you vote for a Gay President if you agreed with their policies, and if they supported gay marriage?

It seems rather possible that America will be ruled by a Gay.

The sexuality of a candidate doesn't matter in the least when I am deciding if they earned my vote or not. I don't care who you bed (so long as it is legal). If you are against the bloated/intrusive government, serious about tackling our debt, and committed to keeping America out of perpetual war than that is the candidate that will earn my vote.

I would prefer a more libertarian candidate as in throw out all government involvement in marriage but otherwise I agree with you.

As much as I agree with the spirit of that position I think it is a safe assumption to say that the government is never going to get out of marriage. It isn't exactly a very popular position to hold.

There was one CEO who came out as gay, mainly because his boyfriend, picked up in a bar, threatened to expose him. You want to say, Guy, you're CEO of a major company. That said I am more interested in a candidates qualificatons and views than who he sleeps with.
