Would you support this law?

That was then. This is now.

This is what matters
Well, you are quite wrong and quite partisan in your lame defense of Biden.
What matters to voters is politicians shifting statements over time. They are accountable......always.

Uh no. What matters is the here and now.

And here and now it is Republicans who want to do damage to social security and Dems who are trying to protect and strengthen it.

Regardless of your total bullshit

No one is going after SS and Medicare.

Biden made his horrendous statement over SS and Medicare in 1995.....he changed his view.
Mike Lee made his horrendous claim in 2010....he changed his view.
Rick Scott's claim has some merit, if you consider the boomers will be gone and so will the debt load on the plan.....hence, a reexamination of the cost structure and retirement age vs longevity should be reconsidered.
Our leaders in DC worship the EU and their governance, they have raised the retirement age.....it will happen here no matter what party is in charge.

And while Lee said in a tweeted statement on Wednesday that, during his 12 years as a senator, he has not called for “abolishing” Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid benefits, only for “solutions to improve those programs and move them toward solvency,” he has supported benefit cuts. For example, he has endorsed various proposals over the years to raise the Social Security retirement age.

Sounds like a good plan - when SS was created, the average US life expectancy was about 62.
Now, its a little over 77.
Why -not- raise it to 70?

Except the GOP
BS

Biden walked it back.
Lee walked it back.

Who is going to do the looking and judging? Im cool if that job is up to the GOP. :dunno:

Yeah, they have such a good track record!

Largely because infant mortality was so high back then. Kinda doesn’t affect SS. Does it…
