Boy, I sure hit the pawn shop at the right time today!
I walked in and a guy was in there selling a couple of guns, one of which was this 1991 Pre-B CZ-75.
When the guy left I asked the owner how much for the CZ and he said $350.00....Sold!
I suspect this one came by way of W. Germany. Back then they could be bought in some gun shop or .mil exchange and brought back home.
Of course they are an excellent 9mm semi-auto but a Pre-B has one drawback....Post Pre-B Mags (CZ-75B) won't fit a Pre-B.
No worries! The Turkish company Sarsilmaz makes a pistol called the SAR-1 that copied the CZ Pre-B CZ-75 and the mag and I have several of those.
