It should have never been suspended, but it needs modified to reflect our modern times.

Merit based immigration needs to be the law of the land.

I personally do not care about the color or race of an immigrant. I do care about if their ideology is incompatible with American Society, or if they are from a terrorist nation.

Have a skill we need. Have a clean criminal record and valid identification and traceable history in your place of origin.

Then undergo screening and application for legal immigration as a "privilege" and not a right.

The color of a persons skin has no basis in the issue of legal versus illegal immigration. The federal immigration law needs to be enforced, those in violation deported. What’s so dam hard about that?
