The fear of not going to Heaven. The fear of a selfish, vindictive God. The fear of going to Hell. The guy who does good because it is the right thing to do?
God does not to instill fear. Work with God.

Bullshit.I already know how.
Discard your subjectivity and try to see things as they really are and not how your biases wish them to be.Bullshit.
With fears like that I wouldn't believe either. Good thing I don't have those fears, eh?The fear of not going to Heaven. The fear of a selfish, vindictive God. The fear of going to Hell.

The liberals of America have embraced the devil and his demon slaves... its so obvious....
And there you have it. I don't fear no demon legions. I know how to deal with that.
Yep, life ain't fair. That's pretty much the Christian perspective.BTW, you don't get in by doing good works. So you can be a selfish asshole, or Hitler, and still get in?
But only one is the true faith. It is said so in the Bible itself.No. You share your interpretations. And as far as Revelation goes, I don't share yours. Is this hard for you to accept?
I don't need your origin story. If you were agnostic we wouldn't be having this discussion. But only one is the true faith. It is said so in the Bible itself.
I used to have full unlimited access to my Churches HQ's library as my father ran the Linotype and later the mainframe printing everyone's church pamphlets and magazines, including the Model T magazine. As such, they kissed his ass, and we got whatever we wanted. I study all their books. I was a prolific, avid reader with a reading scanning feed of 1300 wpm at 85% comprehension, better if I read slower. Lip ready is 150 wpm, normal reading speed is 300 wpm. It is because of that research, I am now an Agnostic.
The Bible teaches that you need to be a Slave to God and you must subsume your will to that of God's will and only do those things God wants you to do. One passage says we are God's Clay Pots to do with as he wills, to choose or not choose as he wills. To smash a pot just because he feels like it or to make one chosen, like he did the Israelites. I don't want to be a Clay Pot. I am humble enough to understand in the grand scope of things I am still a child to a god like being, but I will never be a Clay Pot.With fears like that I wouldn't believe either. Good thing I don't have those fears, eh?
What exactly is true faith? And why did you worship a book - which can be interpreted many different ways - instead of the Creator? Because I have faith that good comes from bad because it's logical. Rather than having some andromorphic perception of God, try seeing God as every extant attribute of reality i.e. truth, love, logic, etc. Then you might actually get some value out of your "faith."But only one is the true faith. It is said so in the Bible itself.
An individual takes their consul with God and many sources around them to determine who they want to be.The best slaver I can be?
And not because I can discern good morality but because of fear of being punished?
Hmm...
When I am dreaming, I always have God mode running. My other self, overviewing the dream, can reach in at any time and change the dream. And there you have it. I don't fear no demon legions. I know how to deal with that.
Get thee behind me, demons. In the name of The Lord God I command thee.
That's a pretty horrible understanding of it. It's your biases and ignorance that have led to your misunderstanding. You seem to have a JW or Mormon drone kind of mindset about religion. Maybe go converse with one of those because you won't like what I have to say.The Bible teaches that you need to be a Slave to God and you must subsume your will to that of God's will and only do those things God wants you to do. I am. I debate with Atheist too.I don't need your origin story. If you were agnostic we wouldn't be having this discussion.
If people are focusing on the destination they are missing the point and the journey itself.
Why would you fear not going to heaven? The fear of not going to Heaven.
Because it was a book that said Jesus Christ was the only way and path to Heaven. What exactly is true faith?
