Zone1 Worry about God's judgement of you

The teachings of Jesus in every translation on earth back my teachers. Israelite true God worship history backs my teachers 100%--that is how one knows who is correct. We choose with our free will to listen to these-Matt 24:45
You avoided answering my questions. Do your answers scare you?

It works to my advantage when people underestimate me. Also your statement is a textbook example of the dunning effect which states that people of low intelligence underestimate the intelligence of others and overestimate their own intelligence. Doesn't that sound like what you are doing? Let's test that with some empirical evidence, shall we? I am a degreed engineer who practiced engineering for over 38 years. Not exactly the evidence of an idiot. What have you done that could be used as evidence to prove you are not an idiot?
I was a System Design Analyst from back in the day when they trained a specialist to do that job. Recently I was an Apple Phone Tech for both cells and Macs. Now I sit in a nursing home waiting to die.

That doesn't change the fact that I was misdiagnosed, as a kid, when I was actually Bipolar. I tested with an 140 IQ, a reading speed of over 1300 wpm, and a problem where if I got bored I got into trouble, so I read a lot of books. First in the Library at the Church of the Brethren's HQ where my father worked and later at the Orlando Public Library where I hung out because no "cheap" babysitter would have anything to do with me.

Waiting is the story of life from the day we are born...but along the way, doing what we can to make someone else's wait a little easier.

Yeah. I trade stock and argue politics now. The daily medical issues and pain sucks though.

I am discovering aging is quite a shock. I mean, I watched as my grandparents and parents moved through it, but I think we all feel that somehow we will be exempt. After all, felt so good before!

Church of the Brethren sounds about right. People with 140 IQ's don't typically overestimate themselves and underestimate others.

The topic is worrying about God's judgement of you.

So it supposes that those who obey do so in fear.
They suppose wrong. It's not about fear, it's about love. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. But I suspect people who have wasted their lives chasing the wrong things might feel a little apprehension when confronted by the creator of existence. For a guy with a supposed 140 IQ I would have thought you would have figured that out already.

I don't do either. You took a meaning from what I said that was incorrect. I should've used the word ignorant, not idiot. My mother and sister are both devote Christians who only pray once a year, Easter, even knowing my arguments against the religion. Some people need false hope to be able to make it through their stressful days. I wish I was one of them.

If I ceased to exist when I die, I wouldn't ***** about it. Though, I believe it is a waste of life, experiences, and growth to not have an afterlife.

BTW, just because I was tested at 140 IQ in the 8th grade with a 13th level reading comprehension doesn't make me a Mensa member. I heard that IQ tests back then might not have been wholly accurate.

A synonym of 'judgement' is 'evaluation' or a 'assessment'. I am betting each year at your job you received an employee evaluation. Did you live in fear of those? I'm betting what crosses most people's minds when they come to their yearly evaluation is, "Will my value be recognized?"

God is the one being who recognizes the individual's value before all else. What value do you see in yourself? God rates that value even more highly than you do.

Most of us see what needs to be done and we do it for the good of many. If one is obeying out of fear, they are working to placate one person, instead of working for the good of all. God has no need of being placated. His prime objective is the good of all, for the love of all.

I'm Bipolar. I always lived in fear of failing on a project, which I never failed, or being judged not on my skills and ability but on my perceived empathy.

We are pots, God is the Potter. And as pots we have to accept the fact some of us are chosen, like the Israelites, and some will be cast out and broken at the whim of the potter.

Do I have to post the scripter again? I hate having to post something more than one time in a given thread.

The Israelites were chosen for a specific purpose. They were/are to be a light for the rest. Those who live in darkness have seen a great light. And they went through a ton of pain and suffering to bring that light. I wonder if God threw a party for them. Hmmm.

In Jeremiah, the potter does not break the pot. The potter sees a flaw in the pot he is shaping, so he patiently begins again, reshaping the pot. The Good Shepherd had a hundred sheep. One wandered off and was lost, and what does the shepherd do? Does he stay and tend the obedient ninety-nine? Nope, he says good-bye to the ninety-nine and goes off to search for the one. The Father throws a part for the son who runs away, wasting what his father had worked for throughout his life, and the older son who has worked along side the father all his years isn't given a thing.

If you see yourself as the person left in darkness, the pot who has a flaw, the disobedient lamb who wandered away, the son who took a portion of his father's estate and wasted it (only to return to have Dad throw him a party), then count yourself blessed.

Romans 9:21

Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

Romans 9:21

Hath not the potter power over the clay to make from the same lump one vessel unto honor and another unto dishonor?

You are right about the book of Jeremiah. These two versions in Romans is closer to what I was stating. But I may be mistaken about the shattering part.

And I get what you are saying. I never fooled myself that I got to be the beautiful vase holding beautiful flowers...sigh, I felt I was probably the slop jar. Very useful, of course, and possibly more appreciated than a beautiful vase, but even so....

I don't do either. You took a meaning from what I said that was incorrect. I should've used the word ignorant, not idiot.
But you didn't. You used idiots. And that's exactly how your posts come across. That you think we are idiots.

Let's be honest with each other. You're here to try to make people of faith look like idiots. I'm here to make people who do that look like idiots. Not because they are idiots but because what they are doing is idiotic. Live and let live or **** off. Because I am considerably better at this game than you are.

My mother and sister are both devote Christians who only pray once a year, Easter, even knowing my arguments against the religion.
Again... I don't need your origin story. Especially one that isn't honest. You either think they are idiots or you don't. And if you don't it's because you are being selective. Which means you aren't objective. But I already knew you aren't objective from your prior posts. You don't even know how to be objective.

Some people need false hope to be able to make it through their stressful days. I wish I was one of them.
Wait... what? You are wishing you needed false hope to make it through stressful days? That doesn't make any sense at all. Why would anyone wish they needed false hope to make it through stressful days?
