Zone1 Worry about God's judgement of you

Were you the one who claimed to be Catholic? I should tell your Cardinal on you.
Sure, go ahead. You don't need to go to that trouble, you know. Any local deacon, priest, bishop would work just as well. They would merely point you to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and be happy a member of the Catholic laity is familiar with it.

Catholics proclaim the Gospel and its Good News. Part of that good news is those who don't follow Church teachings are left in the hands of a merciful, loving God. Meanwhile, those who do follow Church teaching, which are the teachings of Christ and the Apostles are confident we are on The Way that leads into the Kingdom of God and everlasting life. No need to wonder.

Because if it's man made, it isn't God made.
Why would God have to make it? It is mankind who comes to know God, and in knowing Him finds him worthy of first place in human life--i.e., the etymology of our word 'worship'. It is the individual's decision that God is worth the sacrifice of our time, our talents, and also our treasure. (Again, 'worship').

If it is only you that you find worthy of your time, your talents, and your treasure--and you never sacrifice any for anyone else, then you worship yourself.

Anyway, those of us who know God--or want to know God--gather as a community (a community made up of mankind--gasp!) and worship together as we hold the common belief that God is worthy of the sacrifice of our time, our talents, and our treasure.

We appreciate you recognize that worship comes from mankind (therefore 'man made'), If you should ever note that our worship is coming from swans or puppies, please alert us. Otherwise, our response to "man made" is, Duh.

Because not doing so is blinding yourself to the truth. But then you like being blindly faithful. I feel sad for you.
So you think everyone should believe the same thing? That sounds like a horrible way to discover the truth. Truth is discovered through a conflict and confusion process. Diversity of thought is critical to that process.

But if you have to feel sad for me that's probably not the worst thing that will happen to me today.

No, I think everyone should see without blinders on and then make their choices. For example, I don't think people who know nothing about politics should get a vote. It is bad for our country to have ignorant people voting. And, it is bad for the individual to be blindly faithful.

You people need to stop twisting my words around.

God created existence since then it has merely changed form. So technically everything is God made.
Maybe, but books on it are all mythology, since they were written by man to control the serfs.

Don't blame me. It's your logic that is twisted. But thanks for agreeing with me.

I don't agree with you following blindly your faith when you should see things how they really are and then make your choice.

Meh, I have a deal with God, I don't ask Him for favors and He does not fuck with me....GTG so far. ;)

G-d made me Jewish and believes he’s doing me a favor.

I won’t be asking for any more favors.

What evidence do you have that I blindly follow my faith (whatever that means)?

How do you (personally) see things as they really are?

Worry about God's judgement of you and not God's judgement of others. We all have work to do on ourselves.
Too many focus on others so they don't have to focus on themselves.

I missed this.
Who is better; The person who does good because he is afraid of judgement, or the guy who does good because it is the right thing to do?

Maybe read up on Kohlberg's morality progression. That is if you want to see things for how they really are.

By understanding that, there is no evidence that any mortal knows what happens after death. Thus, all books on religion are written by man and are therefore works of fiction. And your religion cannot be special unless you believe all other religions are fake and such a belief is not based on facts, but on faith, which they all have,

Nope. Not even close to how one sees things as they really are. Want to try again or would you like to phone a friend? I'm available if you need a clue.
