This part has long been shown to be bullshit as they lived through much more rapid temperature and sea level changes thousands of years from the end of the Glaciation phase today it is EASY in comparison.

That is where most of the known problems have been discovered going on in recent years but that isn't going to be addressed by the governments since this has been known for a long time but nothing of substance has been done about it as they can't make money and grow power over it.
