The military is not a social-rights movement. The military's singular focus must be lethality and unity under the Commander-in-Chief. An inordinate number of women have demonstrated themselves to, so to speak, march to a different drummer. We can't have that. Women should be barred from command, aside from nursing.

Very few women are fit for military command. I would say NO women, but I never use absolutes. After all, Queen Elizabeth I and Golda Mier did quite well. I would say Cleopatra but she made a mess of the Battle of Actium.

The commander of my unit when I did a combat deployment was one I would still follow to hell and back if she was to ask.

I have served under multiple women, most of them outstanding at their jobs and just as capable as men.

did she break protocol or anything or just deplaying her 1st right? either way it's a dishonor and she should be questioned or even demoted if was deemed inappropriate for the situtation

The military would probably be better of with women in positions of power. Why? Women seem to make better decisions, like telling Trump he's a fucking dick for trying to take over Greenland.

She's a political hack and doesn't want to put the president's picture up. This seems to be common with women in command. They all need to be resolved.

yes but did she break any rules other than not honoring her commander and then you have the 1st, she can just claim she has the right to speak her mind so it could be a slippery slope

In military service to the USA you have a limited 1st Amendment Right, especially when it violates higher and legitimate command.

This skank should never have been in the service to begin with, should never have made it as far as colonel, and should never have been a base commander.

She is a disgrace to the uniform and a traitor to her country !

She should be court martial-ed on refusal to follow legitimate orders and as a disgrace to the uniform and Service ! And then discharged with denial/decline of any retirement benefits.

No it's not and she had no such "Right".
Military Service, and Oath Sworn, are different than civilian life and Rights.

She should consider herself lucky to not be in a stockade for what is clearly failure to uphold her Oath and Duty. But should be discharged with forfeit of any benefits or retirement.

She can't "speak her mind" in the capacity as a U.S. military commander. She must be FIRED and all other female commanders re-assigned to military supermarkets, etc.

What is she saying? Seems garbled or something.
