The lowest level felony trial court in NY is the Supreme Court. It’s also the Supreme Court which handles civil cases of a larger value.SCOTUS doesn't have a say in State court judgements. The last stop for an appeal of the New York verdict is the New York Supreme Court.
Next up, appeals court. The Appellate Divisions of the Supreme Court are the first appellate level.
The comes NY’s highest court which is the Court of Appeals.
And the SCOTUS does get a say in state high court decisions in many cases. For instance, The SCOTUS reversed Florida’s Supreme Court in Bush v. Gore. Also, the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to bar Trump is also under SCOTUS scrutiny.
So, once again, Jerk Chicken, you’re completely wrong.
