Why was that door LOCKED? To keep people out of that area.
Why did they break out the window in the door? To access the area that the LOCKED door was preventing them from accessing.
Why did Ashli climb into window of the LOCKED door? She did so as a means to circumvent the LOCK on the door which was preventing them from accessing the hallway on the other side of the door and the chambers where our Congressional members had been ordered to take shelter.

The mobsters were beginning to get a bit frantic because they could see through the door that the Congressional members were making an escape through another door and the mob escalated their efforts to get to them before they could all leave.

If you have people (a mob) in front of you trying to get to the people behind you who you are protecting, while it's an unfortunate choice to have to make, the choice should be to eliminate the threat in front of you to prevent them from getting to those behind you, who you are charged to protect.

Ashli got shot and killed for being a part of a mob who was perpetuating an attacking on our Congressional members. Lt. Byrd wasn't protecting a liquor store, he was protecting the lives of some of our Congressional members. And he did his job properly because they all escaped with their lives intact.

What does that have to do with shooting an unarmed female military veteran point blank in the neck. Hate to overuse the word Indoctrination. But it takes a seriously deluded fool to think what Byrd did was alright. Hopefully President Trump holds Byrd accountable for his actions.

Geez these comments sound more and more hysterical. Point blank? Not even. Unarmed? Because she was a part of a mob, even if none of them were armed, lethal force against any of them is still lawful due to the disparity of numbers/force. When a single defender with a firearm is confronted with multiple assailants, then lethal force is generally lawful against any one of them.

Her being female is irrelevant although as a military veteran whose job while enlisted was to protect our military bases, she knew or should have known better than to attack a governmental entity, which included not just members of Congress but the U.S. vice president Mike Pence.
