Will Democrats re-enter the mainstream?

Now try something besides talking points

Our "trickle down" machine is broken

Dems want to fix it. Now, watch as Republicans try to block them
They appear to have fixed it by imposing high rates of taxation and regulation. IN case you hadnt noticed growth is below the level even of Bush's tenure.
Possibly the stupidest comment on this thread for a while..

The intellectually bankrupt Hard Right can't credibly explain how with record corporate profits and expanding wealth gap the trickle down economics hasn't fix this. Why?

watch them try and blame the Left or Obama. Which is a joke.

Since those who don't pay federal income tax in the lowest brackets, if you want to help the middle income taxpayers, look straight at the rich.
I agree with that. Obama should have moved to expand tax credits for two parent workers in 2008 when he had the congress. But, imo, Rabbi asks a decent question. Hillary is reportedly working to hone her econ message to push for some kind of income gain, or tax treatment, for middle class workers without sounding "anti-rich."

The gop agrees the middle class is not benefitting from econ growth, but thus far it has no plan to address the issue ... beyond repealing Obamacare and possibly cutting the Kochs' taxes.

We should congratulate the GOP for charging Koch's a decent price for the best democracy money can buy.

900 million, not cheap...

You're approaching Jake Starkey territory with your stupidity.
The wealth gap expanded when Democrats took power. What about that is unclear to you? Companies will not hire when they dont know what the tax and regulatory regime will look like in 6 months. What part of that do you miss?
As for bankrupt, which party got its clock cleaned last November and which party is stuck running a worn out old woman whose greatest claim to fame is she banged Bill Clinton and got a ring out of him?

What ever happened to all that trickle down they promised?

The 2014 midterms were the lowest turnout elections since the 1940's and don't represent any "mainstream" anything. You're only fooling yourself if you think that.

Also every ballot measure against abortion failed in 2014.

Yes, dpnt you read anything beyond left wing blogs and posts here?
What happened to all those shovel ready jobs Obama promised?

I'm not interested in "stupidity." (-:

But seriously. I think both parties have to accept that wage growth from demand for workers will only occur with the very most educated in very select fields. Corp profits will increase. If the Dems answer is raising the min wage, then not only will it be ineffective, they also won't win a lot of elections. Tax credits are not ideal, but they can ameliorate the effect of globalization on wages. And, we may see more of a return of maftring jobs.

You Fuckwit. If that is so, then we in the GOP should be reining in corporation donations, yeah?

Post the CAGR of real GDP from q2 2001-q1 2009......
You post it, asshole
Bush had rates of growth over 3% for most of his term, except the last quarter. Obama has had maybe 2 quarters of over 3% growth.
Obama--the worst economy since FDR.

Henry is crying because he has to play by the rules?

The Democrats and Republicans left of center to right of center are mainstream.

The OP is crippled propaganda from the beginning.
