Not how it works, dewd. To advance a SCOTUS nominee from the Judiciary Committe rerquires at least one (1) Yea vote from the opposing side.

So, Garland couldn't even get one Republican vote from the Judidiary Committee.

That's a major fail. A fail-fail. Fail.

As it turns out, it was a good choice. I'm usually in favor of letting sitting presidents advance their Nominees unhindered. I thought Garland should have got an up or down vote from the Full Senate.
