not really.Gotcha
Speeding isn't a criminal offense nor is it a federal offense so straw purchases and speeding are not analogous.
Those damn definitions again.

Don't tell me, the speeding driver and gun seller have different coloured underpants, so only the gun seller is not law abiding.not really.

In almost every case they are getting them from other criminals. Anyone who knowingly sells a gun to a criminal, is a criminal himself. Not a response to the question.
If they're not getting them from "law abiding" gun owners then what is the name of the company that produces and sells illegal firearms?

Now....using that logic you just presented.....
The only reason we have rape in this country is because we have women....women who walk around un chaperoned by male relatives and who dress provacatively.
Works for me.So are you suggesting that we do like Australia and have a mandatory turn in for all firearms?
Nope. Well-regulated Militia. Totally in line with the Second Amendment. You know that is illegal under the Constitution, don't you?
You also know that if we did that the only people that would turn in their firearms would be the ones that never had any intention of using them in a crime, don't you?
Gun laws do nothing to stop gun crimes and background checks do nothing to stop criminals from using firearms for crimes.
Still not a response to the question. And if not for women walking around alone and unchaperoned, and uncovered by body coverings, where do rapists come from? If we didn't let women leave their homes without a male escort, we wouldn't have rape.....
See, I think I finally see what you are trying to say....
So when did this "law abiding" gun owner become not a "law abiding" gun owner?if a person give a gun to a person who is legally prohibited from possessing one than that person is NOT a law abiding gun owner is he?
Definitions are not your friend in this argument.
Except that the the USSC has already ruled on the phony leftist, ''Well regulated Militia'', nonsense. The right to bear arms is an individual right. This has been a'splained to you repeatedly yet you continue to parrot your nonsense claim.Holy shit, did you just say this out loud?
I'm flabbergasted.
Works for me.
Nope. Well-regulated Militia. Totally in line with the Second Amendment.
Except that it worked just fine in every other country that sensibly limits gun ownership, where they have nowhere near our gun crime.
So where did the criminal who sold the gun to the criminal who sold the gun to the criminal...In almost every case they are getting them from other criminals. Anyone who knowingly sells a gun to a criminal, is a criminal himself.

We have car theft because we have cars and we have irresponsible ownersAnd you know what....according to your logic, the only reason we have car theft?
People own cars.....if people were forced to take buses and trains, we wouldn't have car theft anymore...
And idiots like you in Baltimore are actually pushing that case.....
The city of Baltimore has added its name to the list of cities suing car manufacturers Kia and Hyundai for not doing enough to prevent its cars from being stolen amid an explosion of vehicles being stolen in Baltimore and across the country.

Baltimore sues Kia, Hyundai for inadequate security systems amid auto theft surge: 'Left residents vulnerable'
The city of Baltimore announced it is becoming the latest jurisdiction to sue the Kia Motor Company over its lack of anti-theft protections amid a nationwide Kia theft surge.www.foxbusiness.com
It is now easy to see why you are an idiot, and why you think the stupid things you think.......
So when did this "law abiding" gun owner become not a "law abiding" gun owner?
Is there something about owning a gun that turns "law abiding" citizens into criminals?
T'would seem you're arguing in favor of stronger background checks and registration.
Yeah all those "irresponsible" owners who lock their car doors but some piece of shit breaks into the car and steals it right? We have car theft because we have cars and we have irresponsible owners
but
We register and insure cars so it appears you're arguing in favor of gun registration and insurance.
If the vast majority of gun owners never commit any crimes then the vast majority of gun owners will not be harmed by reasonable gun control like universal background checks, registration, and purchase limits.Seems like you're making things up again.
You just can't admit that the vast majority of gun owners will never commit any crimes because it doesn't fit your narrative.
I don't sell guns in private sales, I don't buy guns in private sales. No criminal ever obtained a gun from me.
So where did the criminal who sold the gun to the criminal who sold the gun to the criminal...
Get his guns?
Your refusal to admit that you and your fellow enablers are the source of the problem surely makes your shared culpability evident.
If the vast majority of gun owners never commit any crimes then the vast majority of gun owners will not be harmed by reasonable gun control like universal background checks, registration, and purchase limits.
Only the gun manufacturers and criminals would be "bothered"
Your buddy bought cars in. I juest took his analogy to its logical conclusion.Yeah all those "irresponsible" owners who lock their car doors but some piece of shit breaks into the car and steals it right?
And we only have to register and insure cars if we are going to drive them on public roads. That is a condition that can be imposed because driving is a privilege granted by the states and not a federally protected right.
