It's true. Leaving aside Kimmel appearing in blackface and uncounted acts of sexual harassment parody on the Man Show, any one one which should have ended his career, here's his exact words about the Kirk shooter.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

Wow. Every accusation is a confession.

Did Kimmel apologize like Kilmeade did? Hardly. In fact it's been reported that he planned to double-down on the lie on the show that got canceled.

So yeah, one the one hand you have an emotional outburst that was quickly disavowed and apologized for, and a flat-out lie that suggested the MAGA gang saw this guy as "one of their own" in some weird and undefined way, and an obstinate reaffirmation of that odious lie when pressed to explain his remarks.

Hmm, I think Kilmeade's mistake was that he simply mis-labeled his intended victims. Instead of referring to them as 'homeless' or 'insane,' he should have just identified them as 'clumps of cells.' The liberals at that point would have fallen in line, as murder in the name of convenience has been a staple of the left for decades now.
