You simply can't admit you were wrong.

I don't have to, they've already run the numbers.

Bank of America Securities analyst Wamsi Mohan said in a note Thursday that the iPhone 16 Pro, which is currently priced at $1,199, could increase 25% based on labor costs alone. That would make it a roughly $1,500 device.

Wedbush’s Dan Ives pegged a U.S. iPhone’s price at $3,500 shortly after Trump’s April 2 tariff announcement, estimating that Apple would need to spend $30 billion over three years to move 10% of its supply chain to the U.S.

At the moment, Apple makes more than 80% of its products in China. Those products are now subject to a 145% tax when they’re imported into the U.S. since Trump’s tariffs went into effect this week.

Why should I pay extra for a mid-range when I can get a top of the line from a Chinese manufacturer for less.

Stop being a fucking peasent, Blocky, Tariffs aren't doing you a damn bit of good.

Tariffs protect industries and businesses, especially vital industries, from unfair foreign competition. Tariffs prevent huge sums of income from leaving the U.S. America became the industrial giant of the world behind the protective walls of sky-high tariffs for decades.

No, tariffs did not cause or contribute to the Great Depression--that's an old Democrat myth that was floated by FDR and his crowd to attack Republican trade policy, and it's a myth that some Libertarians misguidedly, mistakenly repeat.

Numerous nations around the world have developed their economies by using high tariffs. Think about this: If tariffs are so bad for consumers and the economy, why do so many other nations impose tariffs, including Canada, Mexico, China, Brazil, Argentina, the European Union, Japan, India, South Korea, and Taiwan?

One simple response to your OP

Tariffs can be good if done well. Trump does nothing well. Trump generated 3 bankruptcies of Casinos. No one ever fails with Casinos................Trump did.

This issue is not about tariffs but about Trump handling of the tariffs.
