How did Trump "suck up" to Putin? What has he given him and how has Putin benefited from Trump being in office?

Are you kidding me? How about by sucking Putin's ass the entire campaign?

Donald Trump has once again defended Vladimir Putin against accusations that he is a killer, telling Fox News: “We’ve got a lot of killers. What, do you think our country’s so innocent?”

Donald Trump repeats respect for 'killer' Putin in Fox Super Bowl interview

So you're saying sucking Putin's ass is illegal?

Dumbass, we are discussing why Putin likes Trump over Democrats.

Read thread before you throw your useless cents.

You're the one that said it...dumb fuck.

moron, form the OP:

why Russia would rather have a President Trump in office

Dumbass....from post #8

We've been hearing for over the last two years how "Russian trolls/bots are trying to influence our elections with their propaganda." I also expect that we'll be hearing it more as the 2020 election grown near.

But I can't for the life of me figure out the logic behind that often-repeated phrase. Can someone please provide a valid reason why Russia would rather have a President Trump in office, as opposed to any of the socialist-leaning Democrats who will be running?

This makes absolutely no sense.

Because you are deeply ignorant.

Trump is two bit huckster Putin plays all days long like fiddle...if that fiddle had balls Putin would be squeezing firmly.

Trump's Helsinki Bow To Putin Leaves World Wondering: Why?

Obama led international coalition that instituted deep sanctions on Russia. Clinton supported them (and more) while Trump was against them.

When Clinton was busy supporting anti-Putin demonstrations (Vladimir Putin accuses Hillary Clinton of inciting protests), Trump was busy sucking Putin's ass:

920x920.jpg

Trump is two bit huckster Putin plays all days long like fiddle...

Is that why Hillary needed a reset button......and why Obama was so flexible?

I am invalidating your claim that they would prefer a Trump to a Clinton, or any of the candidates the Democrats are offering.

2014 called and wants to tell you all about the flexible boot Obama put up Russia economy and Putin oligarchs' ass as a firm response to Kremlin's Ukranian mis-adventures.

Trump of course was against those 2014 sancitons, and was very busy asking Putin to "be my best friend"

Why was Obama such a moron?

Nobody has answered the question yet: How has Russia benefited from Trump being elected President?

Absolutely Russia has benefitted from an American president who is weakening our NATO alliances, undermines American Intelligence and gives support to Putin's bullshit.

President Trump Reportedly Wanted the U.S. to Leave NATO in 2018

Trump discussed withdrawing from Nato several times in 2018, aides say

Please show me on this chart where Obama put a "boot" up Russia's ass? Granted there was a dip of their GDP in 2008, probably because the recession was world-wide. But they apparently climbed out of it.

Their 2008 dip in the GDP correlates with ours in 2008, so it's nothing Obama did:

And another question: Why didn't Obama furnish the Ukraine with weapons, like President Trump is doing?

How does russia benefit?
Sanctions lifted.
Would recognize Crimea as belonging to Russia.
Helped destabilize USA.
Trying to leave NATO.
Suspending nuclear treaty is gift to Putin.

Why does putin want Trump instead of anybody else? because Trump has a long history with russia.

Bullshit, he never said that. You can say he underestimated the extent of the threat...so what? How the hell is that even in the same realm of Trump's treasonous behaviour??

When push came to shove Obama confronted Putin's agression in 2014 and established serious consequences for Kremlin to consider going forward.

Your graph (the one that extends past 2010 that is) is showing A RECESSION STARTING AT 2014, extending into 2016.

International sanctions contracted Russian economy by ~2% GDP.

Stupid and lame? I guess it goes hand in hand for you.

You show me when Obama was mulling over pulling out of NATO, untill then you should just STFU with your rediculous what-aboutisms and false equivalences.

Ok. So sanctions lifted on the production of Russian aluminum. From your first article:

"Trump administration officials and many Republicans who opposed the effort to keep the sanctions in place said they worried about the impact on the global aluminum industry....

...The sanctions on the company spurred demand for Chinese metal. China’s aluminum exports jumped to a record high in 2018."

Glad to see that you'd have no problem with the collapse of the global aluminum industry, and that you'd rather buy it from China.

From the second article:

"Among the provisions in the $716bn (£563bn) bill is a ban on spending Department of Defense money on “any activity that recognises the sovereignty of the Russian Federation over Crimea”, a region in Ukraine annexed by Moscow in 2014 during a period of regional political upheaval."

So is the Crimea our war to die on? John McCain and much of Congress seemed to think so. Maybe you should be happy that we didn't have to go to war over that.

From the third article:

"“From a point of view of strength… rather, he (Trump) has done what appears to be Putin’s goals. He has helped Putin destabilize the United States and interfere in the election, no matter whether it was purposeful or not,” the journalist added. He then explained that he knew from his own high-level sources that Mueller’s report would discuss this assessment..."

Dude, please. I won't even bother to address that idiocy, except to say that you leftists are the cause of all the instability we've had after the election.

And the fourth article: "Trying to leave NATO"

Did he? Nope. But those NATO countries are sure ponying up on what they owe us, aren't they? Apparently threats work.

And lastly, I don't care who does business with Russia, as Trump did in the past. Or China, or anyone else. That's what "bushiness" is meant to do, otherwise you go out of business.

Because Putin has Trump in his pocket?

Spewing inane "bumper sticker" slogans? Ok but once again, how has Putin and Russia benefited from Trump being elected? What did Russia gain and what do they have to gain by his reelection?

As opposed to any of the Democrats, I mean.

No. I am asking you, not some link to an article or some pundit.

Can you provide a valid reason why Russia would rather have a President Trump in office, as opposed to any of the socialist-leaning Democrats who will be running?

How does Russia benefit from Trump being President, and how would they not benefit from the election of any Democrat candidate who has announced?

What does AOC, Warren, Booker, Harris, and the rest of them have to offer in the way of US/Russian relations? Aside from having a goal of unseating Trump, have they addressed this issue in any way, shape, or form?

Great, now you understand why Russia wants Trump and how Russia is benefiting from Trump.
But there is more: sanctions not imposed as required by law.

During the debates he said.....

"And, the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back, because, the Cold War's been over for 20 years."

When push came to shove Obama confronted Putin's agression in 2014

After sucking Putin's ass for 5 years?
