The mayor was asked if she's considering personnel changes at the city's law department, which fought the video's release. She said she is still reviewing what happened.

But the liberal "eat your own" mentality, they'll probably go after her now, and you'll end up with a Machine Politicians next time that will probably give the FOP it's full wish list of bad behavior.

Hey, the next mayor is going to have a "D" after his name, and he's going to be a lot more friendly to the FOP than Lightfoot is. She'll probably end up being a one-term mayor for doing the right thing about Covid, anyway. But the BLM crazies aren't making things any better.
Here's the thing. These cops weren't malicious. They made a mistake. A stupid mistake, to be sure, but they didn't go in thinking, "We're going to crash into this social workers house and humiliate her!!!" They really thought they were going after a dangerous ex-con with a gun. They had the wrong address, they were acting on bad information. If you want to blame anyone, blame the people who put the wrong address on the warrant and didn't bother to check that the guy they were looking for was already on home confinement with an ankle bracelet.
I am for serious police reform, but treating police like they are the enemy isn't helping.
Now, there are a lot of bad apples on the police department. There are a lot of good guys on the police department who are badly trained.
But if you go in with the ACAB/Pigs in a blanket mentality that BLM goes in with, you aren't going to really fix either. You are going to scare the hell out of the white majority who are more afraid of you than them.
