Austin Police on Sunday told residents to shelter in place amid reports of multiple shootings.

The Austin Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in as many as 10 shootings since Saturday.

Two of the shootings were at fire stations in South Austin.

At least four people are injured.


“SHELTER IN PLACE: Austin Police officers continue to search for suspects located to multiple shootings and have issued a shelter in place in the areas of South Slaughter Ln, East McKinney Falls Pkwy, North Ben White Blvd., and West Escarpment Blvd. Residents in the surrounding area are instructed to stay indoors until further notice,” The Austin PD said.

It does disrupt the notion of "a good guy with a gun," its a very strange situation. Stolen guns, spree shooting at fire stations and stop and robs. They used license trackers to track them down pretty quickly though. Interestingly, Austin has now officially grown to 1MM. Just the city. The county and neighboring counties making up the metro area are 2.55MM and are spreading out south to San Antion. North, housing developments have moved passed Liberty Hill, making their way up to Lampasas.


Of course, back in Houston this would be any day ending in "y."
