Yes.Interesting. You know what everyone sees?
Tell me more about this power of yours.Yes.
No.Tell me more about this power of yours.
I live in your head rent free.
No, but your smug commitment to being wrong is amusing at times.I live in your head rent free.
I'm happy with the record.No, but your smug commitment to being wrong is amusing at times.
EV technology is still "pie in the sky".
You admitted you dont own one so quit pontificating as if you have any sort of personal experiencePresent EV's are range limited for doing the things that I do.
There are already many heavy duty EV heavy haulers on the highways. As with the advent of 500 watts per Kg batteries, there will be many more. And there will be batteries that exceed even the 500 watts per Kg by 2030.If you need a 400 mile range for a single round of 18 holes ... then maybe it's your golf game that needs work ...
Golf carts are great at hauling around golf club set sized loads ... like groceries or laundry ... but a tractor hauling 34 tons? ... that's a ways off I think ... the good news is that railroad locomotives are diesel/electric ... we can shut the piston engine down when there's a "third rail" available ... skips batteries altogether ...
Miss Elektra, you are truly one dumb ass. I remember when Tesla's first came out, you said that they would never reach major production. Now there are millions of them, many different brands, on the highway. And their percentage of new sales increases every year, worldwide, and even here in the US. As stated before, I drive my vehicles until the wheels fall off. I hate making payments on something that is losing value every year.You admitted you dont own one so quit pontificating as if you have any sort of personal experience
All opinion old crock of shit, your rules states if you dont link one is a filthy liar.No, the present EV's are not junk, just as the present ICE vehicles are not junk. But one does get what one pays for, and there are many good used vehicles that have the majority of their usable life left for a fraction of the cost of a new vehicle.
Link, liar. Quote where I said that statement you filthy liarMiss Elektra, you are truly one dumb ass. I remember when Tesla's first came out, you said that they would never reach major production. Now old crock has admitted that the deep state has given $350 billion in subsidies to Elon Musk alone. Foreign car makers also recieve this subsidy from the u.s. taxpayerNow there are millions of them, many different brands, on the highway. And their percentage of new sales increases every year, worldwide,
How nice for you.I'm happy with the record.
I think so.How nice for you.
Oh....If you need a 400 mile range for a single round of 18 holes ... then maybe it's your golf game that needs work ...

Right now it only works in theory. Even if such miracle batteries appear, they (don't exist now and there are chemical limitations for obtaining a reliable battery not a laboratory one, whose energy density will be at least twice as high as the current ones), there is still the question of charging (and its efficiency) if you charge quickly (and that is exactly what farmers need) then you need megawatt charging power for one tractor, but this leads to a decrease in charging efficiency (up to 50%) and rapid degradation of the battery due to high charging currentsElectric tractors? When the batteries have enough energy density. After all, that would free the farmer from being dependent on outside sources for his fuel. Just install a lot of solar, and he makes his own. In the meantime, electrical machinery is being used in other industries;
I saw this video short and was gobsmacked at the poor numbers electric tractors produced. Now imagine the farmers had to go electric, prices would at least triple. So imagine the cost of food in the stores and/or tariffs imposed to keep imports on the same cost level.
