Ever notice how most of the academia types are liberals? Ever wonder why that is? How many of you went through college then when you got into the real world found out that everything you were taught only worked in academics but not in the real world? I know a lot of you, myself included, discovered that very thing. The fact is all the liberal ideas are academic ideas and not real world ideas. The reason things that work in academics never works the same in the real world is because in academics you can create your conditions to set your idea in. In the real world, you are stuck with the conditions of the real world.
Sure in the academia world conservative ideas seem barbaric or even reckless. But it works in the real world because the ideas are based on real world motivations. I mean come on you really believe every person will be able to get behind doing what the government tells them to do and then accept that no matter what they do they will never have more than the person next to them. That is even if that person does nothing all. Fact is monetary and survival motivation will always push people better than self motivation. It will always be the case and socialism and communism will always fall far behind capitalism.
It is just the simple real world truth. Sure socialism and communism set in an academia perfect world with perfect people and enough resources to go around. A world that everyone would have the same as everybody else has. Then in that scenario socialism and communism will out perform capitalism. The problem is the world is not perfect. People are not perfect. There arent enough resources for everyone in the world and there will never be a time when everything is equal. That being the case Socialism and communism becomes the bad parent giving its favorite children the good stuff and leave the rest to suffer.
At the end of the day there will always be poor and there will always be the rich. It does not matter what you do they will always exist in this world. There will simply always be the haves and have nots. The only question is do you want the decision of who the haves are based on your individual accomplishments and limitations or do you want it based on what the people running the government wants? The US has always gone by the individual and it has made this country the best country in the world to the point where our economy actually keeps other nations financially afloat. Why would we want to change things to what has been tried and failed?
I know there will be those out there that will say true communism has never been tried. That is because it is impossible to fully implement in a large society and we are left with only what has been tried.
