Why join the NRA?

I'm a gun owner, I live in Arizona, why should I care about the NRA?
vThisv is why you should care
Because they function as a misinformation arm of the pootin.

Because they mistake guns as our protection of freedom over the ballot box.

Because they want domestic abusers to have weapons.

Because they want ghost guns to be just that against law enforcement pleads.

Because it makes you an asshole white guy bumper sticker.
get a clue sherlock.

10 years ago I left the NRA, and vowed not to rejoin til they got rid of LaPierre.

I believe he's gone now, but I'm no longer able to travel to the range, so the point is moot.
Wayne LaPierre ran me off over thirty years ago. The only good I see with the NRA is their lobby. Many other gun owner organizations provide lobby advantages, but the NRA is probably the largest on a national level.

People didn't own guns before the NRA was created?
The NRA wasn't originally founded to protect gun owners or the second amendment. That has been something relatively new in their mission. Sixty years ago, their primary purpose was promoting the sport of competition shooting, hunting, and firearm safety and education.

The NRA offers gun owners status as good guys with guns.

They can then pretend to being 'good' guys with guns, right up until the pull the trigger and become mass shooters with guns.

The NRA doesn't accept the term 'bad guy' with a gun for their members even when they become a Rittenhouse or a Chauvin..

You truly are remarkably stupid. How do you clothe and feed yourself?

You need 90 days observation.

I am a member and knowing their lobby efforts support me and others rights to own and carry firearms and hunting. They provide legal support discounts on car rentals and hotel rooms plus ranges for shooting sports.

I was an nra member for 30 some years....never again.

If you want to be brainwashed by NRA gun propaganda, just subscribe to their pamphlet.

Apparently the poster who identifies with the British 19th century fictional detective never actually took a gun course or participated in a event that features firearms or applied for a hunting license and isn't concerned about 2nd Amendment rights here in the colonies. Another trolling post?

Your membership fees will go toward lobbying our Congress people to make favorable laws for gun owners. I can't think of any other benefit.
Free magazine subscription and if I'm not mistaken, legal assistance if charged with unconstitutional firearm charges.

Do you even have any idea how many NRA members were mass shooters in the last 10 years, 20 years, 50 years? IOW, give with the actual numbers, and if the numbers are all zero, admit you just made it up.

Donald H, the Canadian duck has left the building. Hasn't been seen since the election.
