Why is the far left so upset that a 17 year old Patriot shoot arsonists and looters?

This kid is going to be so rich
He’s going to need it too, along with a pardon from Trump the idiot.
Why what did he do wrong
He’s underaged. He stands a good chance of getting sued regardless of his criminal trial results. He killed two people, he’ll need copious money for lawyer fees. Trump can’t pardon him for state crimes or civil suits.
His lawyers are doing it probono as he will also be able to sue for being attacked by the dead criminals -----who have nothing and the city of Kenosha for not policing the violent criminals which is their job. Right now the city of Kenosha is negotiations to drop charges against the boy in all liklihood and all they want in exchange is for him not to sue them.
As usual, you guys are forgetting one set of people. The lawyers of those he killed. They aren’t restrained in any decision made by local governments.
They can't prosecute him for murder if the event is ruled a case of self-defense.

you need to get your story straight. He’s already been charged with murder along with being a fugitive from justice warrent and awaits extradition. He was provided a public defender. Gee, he must have left the state after he killed two and wounded one. The charges are mounting up. It’s like leaving the scene of an accident, it becomes a whole new ball game even if you think killing people was justified.
Jesus, he’s being tried as an adult.

and, he has a great public defender. Where’s the money coming from ? The NRA ? Wait, the VP Wayne LaPierre stole it all...

“Rittenhouse faces five felony charges, including first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree reckless homicide. He is also facing a misdemeanor charge for possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor. Open carry of guns is legal in Wisconsin for adults over 18.“
Yes the same party that caused the vacuum of no police that caused violence, are the same ones that charged him.
corrupt Democrats
Sure, that stream of police vehicles looked like no police.
Nope, you got just what you worked for.....underaged White kids committing mass murders. Your only regret is that it’s wasn’t more.

Two nights ago, the Great Patriot, Defender of Kenosha, and Guardian of the Republic, Kyle Rittenhouse, suppressed an unlawful riot in Kenosha where countless businesses have been burnt down, looted and forced out of business.

The police were no where to be found, unable to act and carry out their function of maintaining Law and Order.

So the citizens of the area took up arms, exercising their Second Amendment right to suppress violent riot, arson and looting and to suppress a communist insurrection.

It's almost as if the far left wants to take our Second Amendment rights so they can abolish the police and then rain chaos upon our communities (problem, reaction...solution?), and then institute their new police force under the flag of communism to restore civilization.
So what he did was legal?

When you start to support vigilantism like this, you are no different than the looters and rioters. This all is coming together in a really bad way and dangerous way for our country.
the one difference here is, you didn't start it. but if you allow looters and rioters to tear shit up - you're a fool if you expect people to sit back and let it happen night after night after night.

It's starting to look like you are following me around from thread to thread.

Can't understand how you can on the one hand condemn rioting (which I agree with that condemnation) and yet support this. It's internally inconsistent.

Vigilantism is lawlessness. No different than rioting. A 17 year old in no way should be out there in a hyper volatile protest with a high powered rifle. IF the facts so far are correct - and the situation if evolving - he shot and KILLED two people and badly injured a third. Self defense is one thing, but in the initial killing, that does NOT appear to be the case.

The picture of him coming out is also disturbing. Funny how a protestor, standing across the street holding up speakers gets shot in the face by a rubber bullet, is vilified as a jobless bum (despite no evidence of actual participation in rioting) but this guy, illegally carrying a high powered rifle (he's 17) is a "hero". MURDER IS NOT HEROIC.

Something is messed up is very messed up right now if this is a "hero". Police are heroes. Undisciplined private paramilitaries are not. They are as dangerous as mobs of rioters. And they are ANTI-LAW. Anyone who believes in taking the law into their own hands and meting out justice is NOT LAWFUL.

What do we know about this kid?

But brief accounts from neighbors and local institutions paint the picture of a high school dropout who viewed law enforcement officers as his personal heroes.
So much so that, when massive protests, looting and fires broke out in Kenosha following the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Sunday, he crossed state lines to offer his support to local policemen – at times, speaking as if their duties were his, too.

Police are heavily trained, and they know the law. These guys don't. They have no business acting like police.

There are WAY TOO MANY armed people at these protests and that includes "the left" - you once said once you bring firearms to a protest it is no longer peaceful. Still believe that?

There are WAY TOO MANY OUTSIDERS at these events - both "protestors" and "counter protestors" - they need to be thrown out of town.

Here is what one person said - is she right?
“Maybe he thought he was doing the right thing, but you don’t kill somebody,” she said. “That’s not your business to kill someone for messing with someone else’s business. That’s for the cops to deal with.”

Hmmm, one of the thugs he killed was a pedo who served 12 years, and the other raped and tortured his girlfriend. Fine upstanding citizens those two were.

The last guy was armed with a pistol and the leader of a communist group who wants to destroy the USA.

I should care about violent felons why?
Just out of morbid curiosity; one of our more prominent posters here did time in prison. If he were shot dead by some guy who just wanted to kill someone, would you care?

First off the dead felons were trying to attack the kid. At that point I simply don't give a shit what happens to them.

They already have shown they don't care about the Rights of others, and they were trying to kill this kid, so no, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Great way to promote senseless killing on top of senseless rioting.

I'm beyond disgusted by what's happening on all sides.

Everyone seems to listen to the same echo chamber here. The so-called claims of "violent rape and assault" and "pedophilia" were deliberately made up to slander them. How low can you go West short of killing someone? Here's an idea for a start - go to the WI Sex Offender Registry and type in his name. Anything pop up? That is a start at trying untangle this complete mess of layered fakery, bogus claims, and incitements for more violence on both sides.

Second. If you claim these three men (2 dead and 1 injured) were rioters, please show it. Acts of rioting, looting and arson are illegal, we all agree on that. Show us that is what THOSE THREE PEOPLE were doing. Are you claiming EVERYONE at the protest was engaged in arson and looting? Then that must include the kid and the armed private militia people right? Or - wait - are you going to make some distinctions? hmmm....how about Right = lawful, Left = unlawful = legitimate....cause that's where you guys are going with this. That's a good starting point for killing people huh? No need to mess around trying to figure out who is engaged in unlawful activity and who is not. Now, if only there is some way to identify them before we kill them and have to make up crap to justify it.

So what happened here?

Here's one news account with no speculation:

Social media footage surfaced surrounding the late-night fatal shooting during unrest. Witness accounts and video indicate the gunman first shot someone at a car lot just before midnight, but details on what sparked that shooting weren't immediately clear.
The alleged gunman then jogged away, fell in the street, and opened fire again as members of the crowd closed in on him, some appearing to kick and grab at his weapon. According to witness accounts and video footage, police apparently let the gunman walk past them and leave the scene with a rifle over his shoulder and his hands in the air as members of the crowd were yelling for him to be arrested because he had shot people.
When asked why the gunman was not arrested in the moment, Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth said he couldn't say for certain, but noted the chaos surrounding officers that night.

Since it's all caught on video, it's pretty damn hard to JUSTIFY but easier to UNDERSTAND the shootings - the fact he was there and (illegally) armed to begin with and the fact he was allowed to simply walk away and return to another state and the fact that in that video there was NO criminal behavior being conducted by any of the dead or injured victims speak for themselves. The rest is speculation, differing accounts, deliberate disinformation, witness statements and armchair quarterbacks directing a brief video.

So here are the questions:

WHY WAS A 17 YEAR OLD THERE????? WITH THAT KIND OF WEAPON???? Regardless of what was going on....no one else got shot. Regardless of how I personally feel about private militias (which, as you know, is pretty negative) - THEY didn't shoot anyone either. The police refused to deputize these citizens...for good reason, but they were and imo it's fine to do so - allowed to guard private property. That is FINE. That is what this kid was supposed to be doing, but he LEFT his spot. If he had stayed there nothing would have happened! He was in over his head and he panicked, understandably, when people in the crowd tried to restrain him and get rid of his weapon. As far as anyone could see - the kid was another mass shooter...like Parkland, or any number of events. How could anyone know otherwise when they witness a man shot in the head and another man trotting away with a rifle? He wasn't law enforcement. No badge. No ID. WE FAILED HIM BY ALLOWING HIM TO BE THERE! He is not a hero. He is not a thug. He's a mixed up kid, who badly wanted to be a policeman, who idolized law enforcement, who carried a MEDIC bag in case any protestors needed help, and damn, I just end up crying for HIM, for this one ruined life, someone who really did not seem to have any malice. The dead are dead, but he will have to live with this. It's so wrong.

WHO SHOULD WE BLAME for the riots? Oh, I know the answer that will come from some - commie lefties. Democrats. Sheesh. Get a new playbook. Responsibility ultimately comes down on the mayor. He, along with the city council are responsible for ensuring the safety of his citizens, and their livelyhoods and their homes. Just like if you are the president - it doesn't really matter what you do or don't do - the buck stops here.

But there is a bit more than that because nothing is really simple unless you are a business that got burned out, or the fiancé, with a 2 yr old daughter, of a man who is now dead and slandered, or a 17 year old kid who will now be facing a life he never envisioned, or the family of a man brutally shot in the back at close range, and you just want justice.

What could have been done differently?

Let's start at the beginning. What sparked the demonstrations that then turned into rioting?

A video.
A video showing police come up to a man, leaning into his car, grabbing him by the shirt, pulling him back and pumping multiple rounds into his back at close range. It was brutal and against the backdrop of so many videos showing (justifiable and unjustifiable) police violence - there should be no surprise at public reaction. I don't care who the man was, there is no way to watch that (if you are a normal person) and not be horrified. This is our new reality - videos. Of EVERYTHING. Harder to sweep things under the rug, easier to spin, misconstrue, take out of context. Easier to inflame "the masses". Easier to see wrong doing.

What preceded that? Attempts at police reform by the Wisconsin governor, stalled by the legislature. Maybe, just maybe, if people see that something is happening and something is being done, and there is transparency the potential for violence is less. The governor is attempting, AGAIN, to pass it

Yet, the mayor himself appears to be tone deaf to his constituency. If he doesn't listen to the other half, and he fails to provide law and order, he's going to deservedly lose re-election. One example - curfews. A good way to tamp down the potential for violence which always seems to escalate at night. There are demonstrations ongoing described as "mostly peaceful". There is supposed to be a curfew. It's NOT BEING ENFORCED. What the hell?

What is your solution? Blame "commies"? Get real. We have a perfect storm with bitter political divisions at EVERY LEVEL, widespread public anger and unrest, a lot of restrictions and confusion with a pandemic, widespread distrust of our leadership, huge unemployment, Congress incapable of doing their job, a hugely divisive and incompetent president, and the worst recession in ages and more internet disinformation than ever before. Take your pick - it all feeds into the unrest.

But I will say this, I was wrong on one thing, I am now agreeing with you that we need law and order more than ever - we need to stop the violence and that means addressing ALL the participants, not politicizing who to go after. But that can't be with private militias, because they become PART of the problem, fed by the same disinformation as the rest of us. Private entities can guard private property but they have no business roaming the streets or public areas and if they kill someone, they face the law on that. The police and our national guard are the ones who need to be doing this. It's their job, it's what they are trained for. Crowd control. Arresting looters and arsonists. Enforcing curfews.

This kid is not a hero. He's a victim. And we are all to blame.
:clap2:

Amazing how each end has 20/20 vision on the misdeeds of the other end, and are completely blind to their own.

The adults in the room had better take control pretty fucking soon. Wherever they are.

Honest to god Mac, my heart goes out to this 17 yr old, who's life is now ruined. The other's are dead. He even carried a medic kit for heaven's sakes. WE FAILED HIM. :( :( :(. They are not charging him him with murder, but reckless homicide and intentional homicide. That is more appropriate. I don't know if he is being charged as an adult...
He should not be charged at all---he only shot to defend himself............he wasnt reckless and nor even intentional.

Oh baloney. He shot three unarmed men. He was illegally armed. He was an active shooter. Two men tried to stop him and detain him for the police, and he shot them. He has two lives on his hands. If he were a leftist you would be calling for a hanging.
What an uneducated lying piece of shit you are. Forget that photo of the punk shot in the arm holding a Glock did you? Not an active shooter you liar. Defending himself after being hit in the head with a skateboard and having a wanna be Molotov thrown at him. All on video. Two men tried to stop him? FUCK YOU. They were assaulting him. Damn liars like you get exposed so easily. STFU.

If he were a leftist you would be calling for a hanging.
when are you going to stop lying,,,
one guy had a gun and the other had a blunt object he used as a weapon and he was running from them after being attacked by a 3rd man he had to shoot,,
if you took time to watch the video proof you would know that,,,

You got it a bit wrong here.

He shot a man in the head. That was the first event. That man had no blunt object, weapon, or a gun.

Then he ran.

Two people then tried to bring an active shooter down until the police could get there. One guy was shot and killed by the active shooter. Another guy, a good guy, with a gun, pointed it at him, and got shot and wounded by the active shooter.

What STARTED the chain of events? A kid, illegally carrying a gun, involving himself in something he shouldn't have been in, and getting in over his head and becoming and active shooter - whom no one knows him, no one knows his intentions, no one knows if he is going to keep shooting people, and no one knows why is there.

YOU STOP LYING.
What a lying sack of shit you are asshole. None of what you claim is true. He did not start shooting people until he was attacked moron. Gee, attack a guy with a gun and get shot. Self defense. Period. Now STFU liar.

Two nights ago, the Great Patriot, Defender of Kenosha, and Guardian of the Republic, Kyle Rittenhouse, suppressed an unlawful riot in Kenosha where countless businesses have been burnt down, looted and forced out of business.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

"A communist insurrection"??? You're posts get dumber every single day.

This idiot wasn't part of any "militia", well organized or otherwise. He thought it would be cool to go out and shoot protestors. After all, if he's protecting property, it's not illegal to shoot people, right? Tell me, if the non-white protestors all started showing up with AR15's and other long guns, would you be so enthusiastic about the Second Amendment? If black people started walking around white neighbourhoods with their semi-automatic weapons, you'd see a ban on those guns so fast your head would spin.

What is happening is that idiot gun owners think they can go out and shoot people with impunity. This 17 year old piece of shit thought it would be fun to go out and shoot protestors, and this is what has happened. He killed two people and his life is now over. The little shit should have stayed home.
The term "militia" means "armed civilian". And anyone has the Right to defend themselves from attacking criminals. If anyone should have stayed home it certainly was the rioters who got exactly what they deserved. One of them was also armed and most certainly in violation of the law was he not also "militia"?

I guess you’ll have to read back another post.

What I never will be able to understand: A 17 years old late boomer needs a rifle to impress girls so he travels to a trouble spot and makes a small talk with policemen before he murders and hurts some unarmed people. In Germany they normally had arrested such a teenager in the idiot phase of his life and had brought him immediatelly into a psychiatric hospital, because of the risk of harm and self-harm. And his rifle he never had seen again in his whole life.
Where did anyone say he needed a rifle to impress girls.....

The people he shot were attacking him. He shot nobody else, just those who were active trying to harm him. 2 of those people DID have weapons. In the video, you can see he clearly did not fire the weapon until someone made an aggressive move toward him.

I “like” how people rattle off firearm information and think it translates into gun laws. You’d think They become experts on law just by reading a gun manual . No, its tough to rationalize killing people in self defense after you’ve initiated the altercation and are committing a criminal act at the same time.

Amazing every time gun Nuts defend people who murder and commit crimes using assault style weapons. It’s a fking religion with them. But an AR15, you’re in the right what you do is defensible .

A crime is a crime. The rioters are all criminals and so is the murderer. We all need to admit this.
he didnt murder anyone,,,it was all self defense,,,

An armed child goes with a war weapon to a riot in a strange region far from home and self defenses some people to death. How plausible is this?
Not far from home. He lives 20 min away. My commune to work everyday is 20 min. He had every right to be there.
He may have had a “ right” but traveling across sTate lines with a loaded weapon and meeting up with a vigilante group And taking part in a mass shooting doesn’t bode well for any self defense plea. Sounds like an organized plan to disrupt a demonstration. He Is the guilty party. He’s not a US Marshall with aut(ority to go from one state to another with an illegal firearm looking for people to shoot. It wasn’t his business to even be there. It’s premeditated homicide. He could and should be in a shit load of trouble.
He went there as a medic with medic gear. And to protect property. Stop making shit up.
He had a fucking assault rifle.
So?

Do you even know what the difference is between an assault rifle and a regular rifle?

Sounds like you have no clue or wouldn't have even mentioned this nonsense.
The difference does not matter, except to stupid Trump supporters.
The difference does matter----------TRUTH always matters. The whole term assault rifle has been spun with so much propaganda and manipulation that even arguing the basic points and imagery have become almost a mute point. AR does not stand for assault rifle......despite popular misconceptions.
He is being charged with having an illegal rifle, that is what is important.
No he’s not unless the charges have been changed again. He’s charged with being a minor in possession of a firearm. That’s a misdemeanor in Wisconsin zi believe. It’s also the only charge that he is guilty of that I can see after carefully reviewing all the video footage available. Rittenhause is going to walk and get rich from these baseless charges. Every incident including the first one was clearly self defense.

Chew on this:

1. He was 17. It was illegal for him to posses that rifle. In his home state you have to be 21, in wisconsin you have to be 18.
This was crime 1.

2. Crossing the state line with an illegally possessed weapon is a pretty big deal and a big fat number 2 on the crime list.

3. Wisconsin totally allows for the use of deadly force in self defense, but the caveat is that you cant be committing a crime while that use of force happens. Which we addressed above he was actively committing a crime by possessing that rifle.

4. Wisconsin has a Castle Doctrine. But you can only use deadly force if the perpetrators are in your dwelling or your place of business. For a place of business you have to own this, or be in charge of operations of the business. You can not just post up to protect a random business, also you can not chase people if they decide to retreat like This 17yo did. Wisconsin V. Charles L Chew is the case law. If you want to have a look.

5. Its not self defense when you get in your car with a rifle, drive 15mi to another town, and walk the streets with a rifle.
He had every option to stay home but he chose to get involved in this situation with the plan to be involved in confrontation(hence the rifle) also in Wisconsin self defense law you cant be the instigator and then claim self defense.
He became the instigator the second he pursued.

I get it. The kid thought he was gonna be a hero and help out. But, reality is he made a large number of bad mistakes because he's 17 and has his face buried what essentially amounts to propaganda everyday and he can't tell the difference.
Now 2 people are dead and hes headed to jail.

This is what all those "shoot the protestors" comments create.

I don’t think murder one is in the books.
I'm sorry, you sound a little lost. My post was in reply to simply "why the far left would be upset with a 17yr old kid for shooting looters and arsonists".
It ridiculous to put it that simply. No, you don’t allow under age kids to shoot people in their judgement are looters.
This is from the police report
In the first case, a man had allegedly pursued him, thrown an object at him, and attempted to seize his weapon. In the second case, several people had allegedly chased him; one had allegedly struck him with a skateboard; and another had allegedly approached him with a firearm.
First, you’re going to have answer the argument that why an illegal underaged kid who threatened others with a firearm he was prohibited from carrying. Weren’t backing in self defense when they tried to disarm him.

He has common law statutory right to self-defense

First, you’re going to have answer the argument that why an illegal gun carrier underaged kid who threatened others with a firearm, is legal to kill two, people who acted in self defense when they tried to disarm him. he was open carrying an assault weapon and threatening

do try and keep up with the facts,,,

You wouldn’t know the truth if it hit you in the head.

The terms Assault Rifle is a short hand for assault style weapon in civilian terms which you military wannabes don’t get and where most aware people are concerned. The idea that Assault style weapons need to have select fire is crazy. In Vietnam, we used m16 MORE in the semi auto mode then auto or select fire. It was still an assault weapon. The Other characteristics of the AR15 make it just as much an assault style rifle as “select fire“.....it’s a military style weapon whose main use is to mass kill People even in semi auto mode.....it’s not self defense except if you’re in the military or police special units or are attacked by rabid pigs in heat.
The AR-15 doesn't have an automatic mode. There are a shit ton of guns today which are semi-automatic.
I could have sworn that I copied and pasted what the AR stands for...where did it go. AR does not stand for Assault Rifle -----it is the initials of the original manufacturer before they sold out to Colt. They are semi automatic and known to be easily "modified". I am not a military wanttobe----I am married to a retired marine and the mother of a MP naval officer also a daughter of airforce and granddaughter of army raised on a farm that had rattle snakes and rabid raccoons that needed to be shot at times and a woman who was attacked in her twenties and almost kidnapped in broad daylight in Vegas------who bought a handgun for protection. I prefer handguns for protection--easy to conceal and all, my hubby on the other hand can't shoot handguns very well but he is a damn good shot with the rifles---he prefers ar 15 for protections--plus they look more intimidating than a hand gun. Other people prefer them because they are easy to add extra upgrades to so they are customizable dear...and sorry I don't know if you were tossed out in boot camp or if you are lying altogether about being in the military but you don't sound like you are military to me---even the army guys tend to know more than you.

1) Not his weapon so not in his homestate----In WI under 18 can have a gun as long as they have adult supervision which he did sweetheart and/or take special classes. And on top of this, even if this wasn't the case it just a procedural misdeameter..and on top of this, this has no bearing on him being forced to protect himself from the crazies in the dem anti fa and dem blms.

2) Again not his weapon--it was a loaner from a friend that was also protecting the business from the violent rioters.

3) He wasn't committing a crime idiot----and two it isn't a "crime" that you aren't allowed to be committing but a FELONY and having a gun under 18 is not a felony.

4) His job was to protect the business ..he was supposed to be there hun and btw it is the RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE that is in play here

5) I am sorry but what an idiot you are. You have the right to carry a rifle in WI. 15 miles or 100 miles from your house. He put out a fire----that isn't instigation that is being a good citizen.

This kid is going to be so rich
He’s going to need it too, along with a pardon from Trump the idiot.
Why what did he do wrong
He’s underaged.
Oh it’s a misdemeanor lol
He is probably a murderer.

I don’t think murder one is in the books. Maybe manslaughter.

he shot them because they were attacking him not because they were looters,,,

do try and keep up with the facts,,,
Try to keep up with the real facts. This 17 year old was in the process of committing a crime. He was the criminal.

AR stands for Armalite.
