Uvalde Police Officers Allegedly Saved Their Own Kids From Robb Elementary Before Stopping Shooter
Police were outside the school for up to an hour before stopping the shooter.

"As details emerge about the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, police officers are facing backlash for what appears to be a slow response to reports of an active shooter on campus. A 911 call was later made by someone who saw a crashed vehicle near the school and a person with a rifle going into the school. While the police went to the scene soon after, it took them a while to go into the school. It was later revealed that some police officers went into the school to save their children first. A police officer admitted that the police went inside the school to save their children first rather than stop the shooter."
It is understandable that police officers would waste no time to go into the school and get their own kids to safety before confronting the shooter; these cops can't always be the first line of defense...the first line of defense in situations like these should always be the teachers, janitorial staff, school nurse and the children themselves......Does it look bad to the other parents who was prevented from going in to save their kids? I am sure it does....but they would do the same if they were cops....but why did DPS and other law enforcement officials tell so many lies??? For example..........
"In the days after the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety said the shooter encountered a police officer employed by the school district before charging through a back door — and gave conflicting accounts about whether the officer fired at the gunman. Agency officials now say there was no police officer on campus when the shooter first arrived — but did not explain why they first believed there was. “He was not confronted by anybody,” Victor Escalon, a DPS official, said during a press conference Thursday."
Authorities took an hour to stop Uvalde gunman, raising questions about law enforcement response
Officials clarified the timeline of the shooting Thursday after giving varying accounts. They refused to answer many questions about the tactics.

I am surprised Officer Escalon hasn't been fired yet because that press conference was an abysmal disaster....quite like the school's action plan to confront a mass shooter was a complete failure....and this is after the school doubled funding for on-campus security, including having a whole police force just for the school....where did the money go -- because if the latest story being told was true, there was no on-campus security. Why would they totally make up the "brave officer confronted the shooter outside the school" scenario if that never happened??
Seems the first and easiest line of defense to a mass shooter is for the doors to be locked....until we know how the shooter gained entry; it is safe to assume that the doors were unlocked. There was also an interview with one of the survivors of the shooting...He told a gut-wrenching story of hiding under the table with a classmate while they saw their friends and teacher die, one by one....he also said he heard police outside give the command "Yell help, if you need help" -- to which a little girl yelled help....and the shooter was alerted to where the little girl was; and shot and killed her.....why the FUCK would you give that instruction when you know the shooter has not been neutralized yet -- and why do we expect teachers to respond any better -- when we barely want to pay them what they deserve now?
