Why is it so difficult to find telephone or Zoom friends?

I love my parents very much. I am grateful to them. I would never put them at risk of COVID by going to public places. I do most of disinfection (washing) of delivered groceries.

Wow! That is why you are looking for Zoom friends? You are still sensitive to the chances and vagaries of the Covid pandemic, that started, 2-1/2 years ago? I was not familiar with Asperger's Syndrome. I apologize for my insensitive remarks.
Have you looked into support groups online for your condition? I suspect there are groups out there dealing with your problem.

I've gotten on a couple of "silver" chat sites, and there isn't much going on in them.
You'd be better off joining a senior center for bingo night or crafts days and meeting people that way.

Move to assisted living and flash a couple of Benjamin's, they old white hairs will be
swarming you.
