You can only ass-u-me that Biden knew what was in the boxes, that were likely packed up by aides a decade earlier.
Logic says, if Biden knew he had classified documents (in violation of law) he would
have removed them prior to inviting a search. Like Trump did, by moving the boxes around, and removing documents from them before the authorities conducted a search.
Similarly with Pence. If he knew he had classified documents, he too would have delayed or fought a search so he could remove the incriminating evidence.

Let me point out, the same thing happened due to cooperation when a republican congressman TWICE tried to take a loaded gun through airport security.
Former North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn pleaded guilty Friday to bringing a loaded handgun through a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport last year, according to his attorney.
Cawthorn, whose trial was set to start Friday, entered a guilty plea for the third-degree misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous weapon on city property
The former Republican congressman was fined $250, without probation, and his firearm will be returned, his attorney said.
“Mr. Cawthorn accepted responsibility for this mistake. Law enforcement noted his cooperative attitude at every step.
