I used to live in Germany.....they were paying 10 marks for a liter of gas. That's why most of them couldn't drive their vehicles and why they had mass-transit that could take them anywhere. Most of them could only afford to drive on weekends. Many of them don't have a driver's license.

We don't have a mass-transit system like they have in Europe.....so high fuel prices will cause a Depression the likes of which we haven't seen in 90 years.
