Again, there is no reason to think so. Without the war, Iran will continue to be the source of all the violence and conflict in the ME while striving to develop long range missiles and nuclear warheads to threaten the US and Europe, which should be unacceptable to any sane person.

The goal of the war is to destroy the current regime to prevent them from doing that. It is not nation building, although US and even Israeli help will be available to a new peaceful Iranian government, so there is nothing to get bogged down in.

The actual bottom-line reason the IRGC leaders won't negotiate is that they are religious fanatics who believe a deity is guiding them and religious fanatics would sooner die than give up their goals, in this case world domination. Just think about some of the crazy Christian nutjobs:
