Why I support eliminating the Federal Level Department of "Education".

It gets worse. Once a person works for the Federal government, they are basically unfit for work in the private sector. The confusion and inefficiency they bring is intolerable to private sector employers. If we are going to shrink the federal government, there needs to rehabilitation programs for ex federal employees before they can be allowed to work for productive companies.
As a former employee of the federal government in several capacities, you are full of shit. I also worked in the private sector.

Everything about the educational system has been compromised, including the education. :( Anytime a school somewhere gets its ducks in row and grades soar, the teacher's unions treat it like it had leprosy. :omg:
The teachers' unions have no influence over school operations. You are terminally full of shit.

The thing is, much of their decision making is driven by the feds. They establish dependency and then withhold aid when the locals won't play ball. That's why the Dept of Education was created.
You are partially correct. Federal funds were used to educate poor and special needs students in underperforming schools. they did this through funding. That's the way the federal government operates. You didn't know this?

Schools, ESPECIALLY private and parochial schools, have every right to pick and choose their students. We should really restart special and alternative schools for the developmentally disabled and chronic disciplinary pupils. Those seemed to work out very well until some namby pamby moron decided they didn't.
You would need to repeal numerous federal laws voted into effect by Congress. You may feel free to try, because none have been successful.

The Federal Department of Education was formed as a sop to the Teachers' unions that quadrennially provide massive money and in-kind donations to whatever goober the Democrats put up for President.

Since no Federal department ever actually dies, the Dept of Education should model itself on the FBI and how it helps local law enforcement. It provides research, technical support, and consultation to local law enforcement because they are better positioned to provide those services.

The Education Department could sponsor research on education methods, course content, standardized tests, management practices and who knows what else.

What makes you think that is already what they do? What federal programs actually hurt local public schools?

Stilted and weird use of language: "Federal Level Department of "Education""

I bet you think like "Federal Level Department of Department of Defense"

You have no clue about things. You're a partisan reactionary who comes along during election season and shits all over the place spouting hatred of Americas and America.
Federal level denotes the difference in federal and state Departments of Education.

It's never ever been easier to find great workers. It would be great to see another mass resignation. Deny the Companies their labor force.
Workers badly needed in the building trades (good luck with your housing plans Kamala).

The teachers' unions have no influence over school operations. You are terminally full of shit.
Some studies suggest that they do, if only draining needed money from the districts for teacher wages and benefits.
