In a narrow election, you a make a case about almost any issue being the deciding factor. That said, inflation was clearly the biggest knock on the democratic campaign.
It's truly distressing to me that people's view on the economy, which supposedly is described by objective measure, is so skewed by their political persuasion.
With neither party being worth a crap, I've felt there is a limit on how much leadership the public is willing to turn over to them. We've had the Democrats controlling the presidency in 3 of the last 4 terms of office, now it's the Republicans turn to handle affairs. That's the weakness of the two-party political system. When it is time to toss the bums out, there only awaits the bums on the other side to take their place.
You can think whatever you likeOk
Harris was a bad candidate and democrat policy was unpopular
But I think repubs studied the book on democrat vote fraud and took corrective action
I don't think this should be ignored. Republicans did a great job at the polling places; having them staffed with trained watchers and attorneys at the ready backing them up. Lara Trump had a lot to do with this.Too many eyes watching.
I think the repubs were much better at preventing democrat cheating in this election
Dems bore the blame for inflation whether it was their fault or not.Apparently, it wasn't translating down to the middle class. When you look at the demographics Harris won, she lead with people whose income exceeded $100K, a slight lead with those who have college degrees and a huge lead among those with graduate degrees.

In April 2020, Donald Trump cut a deal with Vladimir Putin, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and OPEC to intentionally increase oil prices and bail out his biggest oil donors after a price war between Russia and the Saudis sent oil prices plunging. The lower middle class are the ones most affected by the inflation that we had a couple years ago
Both Trump and Biden were “at fault “ for that even though the actions of both were necessary
Unfortunately Trump got a pass and Biden didn’t
The fantasy lives on.Easy, we stopped 15 million fraudulent Dem votes this time.

Maga forgets conveniently that Trump wanted a BIGGER stimulus. But the reality is that the candidates didn't really matter. Biden got nominated in 20 by promising to let the progs enact the legislation they had votes for. Trump has still not laid out any plan to deal with debt and prevent a return of inflation ..... and he doesn't even like the fed for ending it. lolI completely agree, but what do you think the percentage of financial literacy is in this country?
