Why gas prices are out of control

so how do you charge your car in california during a blackout...they have very little electricity now....of course one could say cali had been in the dark for years

They have been buying excess electricity from Texas but they have actually oversold what they do produce and don't have enough for themselves anymore.
That strain on the grid reaches as far as Alabama and TN grids as well.

Yes...all grids are connected. Happened during the Bush Jr presidency...one of the reasons the power/energy companies promoted him to be elected.

Now that it's relevant....everyone is kinda upset about it. They only get $0.09 in Texas but they get $0.12-14 for the same watts in CA. Or something dumb like that which PG&E then sells for more with a nice profit.

So....
Basically CA hasn't built any power plants in like 20-30 years due to them trying to protect their environment. And it's going to give the rest of the nation a blackout.
