Why don't you want to tax the rich?

Anathema But there's a lot of frustration out there. Why do you think Luigi did what he did. Because of frustration towards the rich.

Trump being a billionaire president isn't helping either.
Luigi is ******* loaded himself! He is from an uber-rich family. Catch a flippin' clue! He's just a nutcase who will hopefully eventually die for his crime!

Luigi did what he did because he's a low life psycho who is an example of exactly what is WRONG with some grubs. Nobody "caused him" to murder anyone. He is responsible for his OWN perverted actions. You might "luv him"; I consider him a deranged pos!!

I would not put a special tax on them, but would close loopholes that make it, so their tax rate is cancelled out. I pay, without complaining, and have most of my life, and still manage to live comfortable. They can too, and still live more comfortable.
What loopholes are you referring to?

Warning: Her comes a non-answer from the resident complainer.

This is in the federal tax code.

If you make less than +/- 130,000 a year, you pay SS taxes on every penny you make. If you make +/-130,001 a year... you pay $0.00 taxes on money made above that amount. The very wealthy actually take home more money later in the year than they do in the beginning.
You consider $130K very wealthy?

Pretty screwed when you earn a lot of money. Or, what you think is a lot of money. In California, New York and other places, $130,000 isn't very much which the cost of everything.

If you are opposed, why?

Why do you oppose aggressive taxation of people making more than $250,000+ a year or $400,000+ a year annually?
“The rich” (a devisive term in itself) are already aggressively taxed, shit-head.

And?

Its the lawmakers who create loopholes and the paid tax preparer does use them when doing taxes. I
Jeff Bezos has already left WA for FL. That leaves 12 more billionaires in the state. How long before these success stories that already provide a lot of tax income for the state leave? To make matters worse, if they relocate their companies, there is not only the loss of the taxes their products provide, but also the taxes generated from their employees. LOL, WA is already feeling the pinch of the loss of Bezos. Who do you think is going to pick up those losses? BTW, WA has no income tax.

Because taxing them at even 100% would be chump change to our national debt. They for the most part didn't create the debt, the government did over several decades. They are the ones who need to be punished.

You needn't punish honest prosperity.

How about a RIF across all non critical government agencies and get to the bottom of all of the fraud, waste and abuse we are finding before we hand them more tax money?

Don’t tax the rich……just cut waste fraud and abuse has been a RW fantasy for generations

Because it's not your money, that's why.
