He can't fire him right now. The only way to fire Sessions is to also
fire Rosenstein or else he becomes Acting AG until a new one can
be approved by the Senate. Flake wouldn't vote for another Trump pick
and neither would McCain if he ever returns to DC.

He couldn't get a new selection thru. He'd have to count on those dems
that are in trouble right now in Trump states.

If the GOP picks up a couple of seats in the Senate. Sessions will be
canned almost immediately after the new Senate is seated.
